This highly sought after site requires you to walk through our prairie to access the site, but the walk is well worth it. The walk takes about 10 minutes to complete. This site is tucked into the woods, and out of sight of all buildings and the parking area. We have a wagon that you may use to carry your gear to the site, if you would like.
Although this site is tucked away in the woods, the pond is open for all visitors to use, so you may have others who are stopping by to visit the pond during your time at this campsite. We ask that everyone be respectful of each other's space at the pond and campsite.
The campsite includes a space for you to set up your tent, a stone fire ring, a nearby grill (you provide charcoal or wood), and a stone table.
Children under the age of 5 camp for free, so no need to include them as additional guests when booking! :)
