Site 6 - Lake and Forest Camping
Clean, quiet, manicured camp sites
The land was very well kept, the camp sites are clearly marked and easy to get to. A little soft and muddy at points, so if it rained recently, drive carefully. Richard was very nice, especially considering our last HipCamp fell through so we requested the booking less than 5 hours before we arrived. There's a pretty lake or river, plenty of space between camp sites, and a communal cabin with a flushable toilet, lights, cooking area, lounging area, and even a wood fired brick oven! I was in the area for the eclipse, but I'm ever here again, I'll camp on Richard's land again. Not to mention, my dog LOVED watching the cows as we drove on and off the property.

Beautiful land and good sites. A 4wD is good to have, but not required when dry. Our minivan got stuck in the mud near the pond, and the proprietor made a special trip way out back with the tractor to pull us out. I’d stay here again.

Site 5 - Lake and Forest Camping
Had an amazing weekend tent camping at Richard’s farm! Our spot was very private and right next to the water, which was nice for fishing and relaxing. We brought our own fire cooking stand which was perfect for the fire pit that was there. The stump table was a nice bonus!

Favorite Hipcamp around!
Great trip to Flying J as always. Richard was quick to respond as always and even allowed us to switch to a preferred site that was not occupied that evening. Beautiful and peaceful early spring night spent with nothing but the sounds of spring peepers and song birds and a beautiful view.

7 Lake and Forest Camping
Beautiful land and private campsites. We stayed at site 7 in the woods which was a few hundred feet from the restroom. If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend this is the place!
