If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Rusty's retreat was a great stop for me and my hubby! Jay took us on a tour and we got to meet Rusty the bull as well as miniature horses, cats and dogs. Beautiful spot by the river. We stayed at site #1 and loved it.
I was met by the owners of the place upon arriving and taken for a ride to see the sites that they had available. They were very accomodating and informative during the tour. If you're a nature lover, you'll love all their sites. Their sites are nice and accessible, along a creek and far enough back to be private and quite - just what I like.
Creekside shade in corn country
Amazing place, amazing people, amazing animals. Can't ask for much more out on the road. Rusty is a sight to behold and all his little friends are adorable too. Great set of trails leading back the the very private campsites. I even picked up some homemade honey.
Beautiful riverside camping
Great hosts! Our campsite (#1) was peaceful and clean and right on the river. We also got a full tour of the farm and the animals! Of course, that included meeting Rusty!
Very peaceful grove in the middle of Ohio farm country with a nice view of the starry sky at night; loved the sounds from the birds and bugs. Great place to stay the evening with a tent and fire.
Jay and Heather were so kind and helpful. They helped us get our campsite via golf cart. Our site (#2) was quiet and tucked back in the woods. It's a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. Our children were enamored with Rusty, who is handsome and gentle. ☺️ They were able to fish in the pond on their property and had a great time finding the MASSIVELY sized frogs!!!
