An air mattress is available for a third bed. This is one room and no bedroom is in the loft. Towels and toiletries in the bathroom and ice and water is in the door of the fridge. Trails run along a brook that connects to a river with wildlife everywhere. Rusty and his friends are waiting for your visit in the 100+ year old barn. Including Lexi and Buckeye the mini horses and the barn kitty, Poly, with his six toes on each paw are a sight to see. Turk, our turkey and his chicken friends wander all over the property. Kayak or paddleboat on the pond. Play some cornhole or just enjoy the rockers or swing overlooking the pond by a campfire. Peaceful and quiet, Rusty's loft will give you the serene overnight or vacation you've always dreamed of. Bring up to two pets, but there is a $20 pet fee per stay. Please no candle use in loft.

Rusty’s Loft was a serene, immaculate oasis. Jay and Heather were so generous and companionable in sharing their place and land. What a lovely spot for a get-away. Their loft is beautiful and the location is perfect. Trees, birds and animals, all add to the calm and restful ambiance. I will be going back! Thank you both for sharing your beautiful place!
The loft is incredible. It feels like a hotel, but even more comfortable and personalized. Jay and Heather put a lot of work to make it a nice comfortable place for guests. And the farm is so enjoyable! We loved paddle boating, meeting the animals, and walking by the river. Jay and Heather are incredibly friendly and a pleasure to talk to, and also very respectful of space. They were very open and accepting of us as a gay couple, which meant a lot because you never know how people will react!
Jay and Heather were very accommodating and the loft was gorgeous. They really go out of their way to share their space with you.
My boyfriend & I visited here during our anniversary and we had a wonderful time. Jay, Heather and there fur family are warm & welcoming. The energy here is beautiful and this is a great place to get away and be still to hear your inner voice. The pictures do not do it justice. We look forward to going back and experiencing the wonders of Rusty's loft again. Thank you for a wonderful experience:)

Though I am from the mountains, I frequently travel to expansive flat spaces for hunting and fishing. I have never enjoyed a view as much as I did the one from Rusty’s loft, which was well equipped and aesthetically pleasing with comfortable furniture and furnishings. Had I stayed for longer, I would have appreciated the many nearby secluded spots that the hosts maintain along a small river. And Rusty was certainly the largest steer I have been around any time recently — impressively gentle and massive.

From the moment I messaged Jay to leaving his welcoming property, it was a pleasure staying the night. My husband and I were on a road trip and wanted to be spontaneous. With finding Jay so late I never expected to get a response, let alone as quickly as he responded to our booking request! We plan on coming back because Jay made our experience unforgettable.

We had a a great stay at Rusty's cabin. Our 7 year old loved the experience and had a great time meeting Rusty and his friends. Jay was very patient and prompt in answering all our questions before we arrived. As soon as we checked in, he gave us a detailed tour of the barn and the property. All the animals - the dogs, cats, horses and of course Rusty - are super friendly.
The loft is spacious, very clean and stocked up with all the essentials. It has a modern bathroom with clean towels and toiletries. There is a full kitchen with a induction stove, microwave, dishwasher and essential cookware. The large deck around the loft gives you a beautiful view of sunrise over the fields. We spent most of our time visiting the barn, going for walks around the well maintained property, paddle boating in the pond and sitting by the campfire at night.
Jay and Heather are very friendly and great hosts and go out of their way to make the guests comfortable. Jay is very knowledgeable and provided so much information about the land and the farming methods. He has big plans to further improve his barn and loft into a wedding venue which we hope to see done soon. He spent a lot of time with us and even offered us some delicious home grown tomatoes, figs and blackberries, which is truly appreciated. We bought some homegrown honey which is delicious. They are among a few people you might meet, whom you feel comfortable with immediately.
Overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing experience. We loved it. We will definitely be visiting next year.
