The Forest Site is a coveted private space in the woods next to a stream. It is about a 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot, so you can't pull your vehicle right up to the sites. But it is well worth the walk. You will have access to a shared porta potty.
Our farm is 2 miles outside of Chardon, OH and therefore there is easy access to amenities, restaurants, and a number of outdoor activities, including hiking on site as well as cycling and cross country skiing nearby.

This place is amazing. The trail to the sites are well maintained and easy to navigate. This place is beautiful. 130 acres of woods, streams, fields, gardens and livestock. If you are someone whom loves the planet and wants to feel like they are a part of something bigger than themselves this is the place to stay. I highly recommend taking the tour. I feel better just knowing people like Michael and Brenda are in the world, working hard to make this planet better for all of us. I’m already trying to plan a time to go back!! Thank you so much for sharing your farm with me!!
Very nice, secluded site. Good trails.
Campsite was a nice little hike (less than 0.5 miles) from the parking area that was very easy to find. There were several trails to explore on the way to campsite too. Dry firewood was provided at the campsite which had a nice stone fire-ring beside a quiet creek. The host was nice and available to answer any questions.
Site was very peaceful and Michael was a great host!!
This was the best hipcamp site yet, by far. After a short hike back, with the super handy wagon provided, we found a wonderfully secluded campsite with more than enough room for our tent and hammocks. The sound of the creek at night put me to sleep in seconds. It was a lovely night at a beautiful camp site that I will certainly visit again and again.
Nice, quiet place with privacy and some hiking trails. It was a perfect setup for what we were looking for. Wife, dog and I had a nice few days and plenty of privacy.
If you are used to drive up camping, its a decent walk to the site, but we were informed of that and it didnt cause us any issues, just something to plan for.
We would stay again.
This was a perfect spot. Quiet and secluded with everything that we could need. The hosts were responsive and friendly. Definitely recommend!

The forest camp site was better than we even expected. It was a lovely hike to get to the site (and Michael let us borrow a wheel barrel to carry our things). We were totally surrounded by nature and the campsite was perfect. Michael went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back!
