Resilient Acres is a novel exploration of regenerative health and agriculture located on 122 acres of fields, forests, streams, and gardens. We are home to a collection of small businesses that are all dedicated to promoting and enriching human and environmental health
Agritourism opportunities like those offered through HipCamp help to support our farm. You receive one complimentary firewood bundle with your stay and more products are available for sale at our farm market.
The Field Sites are nice open, sunny sites situated in the middle of a hay field with fire rings. They are about a 1/4 mile hike from the parking lot, so you can't pull your vehicle right up to the sites. But it is well worth the walk. You will have access to a shared porta potty.
Our farm is 2 miles outside of Chardon, OH and therefore there is easy access to amenities, restaurants, and a number of outdoor activities, including hiking on site as well as cycling and cross country skiing nearby.

We got to camp in a beautiful field, right as the wildflowers were in full bloom. Woke up to fresh morning air. The trails were well kept and easy to traverse on foot and with our travel wagon, there was a good amount of space for the tent and to make food, and the site itself was far enough away from the main farm that we had a good amount of privacy. Michael and Brenna were friendly and responsive, and the farm cats were absolutely adorable!
We had soooo much fun!!! I highly recommend this place! The night was beautiful!!! We will definitely go back soon!
Stayed at field camp site. Very quiet. Would definitely stay again. Host is a good communicator. Great place to stay.

Y'all! stop. this is what you need.
Y'ALL!!!! Michael was an AMAZING HOST! I needed to get away from the city and civilization for a weekend to have a silent retreat for myself and a colleague. Michael warned us that there would be other guests there for retreat, BUT he put us as far away from others as possible. The spot was well maintained. It was quiet and BEAUTIFUL! AT NIGHT THE FIREFLIES LIGHT UP THE FARM LIKE CHRISTMAS! It's REALLY beautiful. The site even comes with a bundle of wood. It was sooo wonderful.
Some things to think about:
1) The bathroom (if you are at the furthest plot) is NOT close to your campsite. I'd estimate it is about a city block away. Prepare for this.
2) if you are on the furthest plot, this is NOT car camping, as your car will be near the bathroom. Plan accordingly. I did not. Luckily, Michael being an amazing host and all, brought us a wagon to use and take our stuff to our site. It was great.
3) Please read the instructions he sends. It tells you how to get to your site and also about warnings for the property. Poison ivy IS on the trails. He warned us ahead of time, and that was nice to know. Just be familiar and you'll be fine.
4) Don't bring eggs! They sell them!
5) There is wood on site for you to purchase. You can do it through a QR code, which is nice.
6) TAKE THE FARM TOUR! We really wished we'd taken time to do the tour. There is a LOT of land and so much more to see (I'm sure) than what we experienced.
Overall I HIGHLY recommend this place and would return!
THANKS MICHAEL
We pitched our tent in the field site. There was a fire pit there, but we were too tired to stay up for that. There were other grou[s camping on the property, but we didn't hear them. It was the perfect spot for us to stay on our long trip.
The field site was really pleasant. It's a mowed out section of a several acre hay field. There is a trail that goes all around the field and through some forested property as well.
There are two field sites with plenty of space between. It looks like there are several additional sites on this property.
The directions to the property were great! Getting to the campsite was only slightly challenging. I got there without much issue. The directions were good, just a big property.
The property is really rural and fantastic. I loved that downtown is only a 5 minute drive so I could grab food or pick up supplies without fuss.
The host used video check in because of covid, friendly and helpful guy. The host brought out a fire ring and some wood and kindling to help get started.
Great! There is a property with a blue house/white barn (more of a garage in this case) just a few houses up from Michael’s place though, I mixed the two up at first.
Well-maintained plot, convenient tree to pitch a tent under in the rain, useful picnic table!
The place was beautiful, extremely spacious. The host was very friendly with helping us with any questions or concerns. Our campsite was well-kept and ready for us to pitch our tent, they provide a fire-ring and some free wood. Our Fourth of July camping trip was a success, I would recommend it to anyone.
