It was the first time I took my kids camping. It was really fun to set up camp in a Christmas tree farm. It’s very easy to access and friendly.

So beautiful and peaceful.

Very quiet, with a ton of stores and restaurants close.

Close to everything and yet so quiet and peaceful.

I have never seen so many lightning bugs in my life. My son loved it.

Thank you for having us. We will be back soon.

No electricity, no water hookups, no generator.Perfect.

Private campsite that was quiet, had shade and was only 2 minutes walk to a very clean bathroom. Flush toilet, sink, soap.

You can buy water, popsicles Gatorade etc. on the honor system in the barn where the bathroom is.

You can rent a hammock, cook set & tripod, marshmallow forks…

When you arrive you get a bucket with tinder, a small amount of fire wood, a trash bag and a map of the place. You can also buy firewood.

We stayed Thurs. night & Fri. night in late May. Schools were out so I was surprised we were the only campers.

This is a working Xmas tree farm so there were people around working throughout the day but it was never intrusive.

Somewhat noisy from the main road at night but we had so much fun wandering around and practicing bush-crafting that we soon fell asleep. It wasn’t that bad, just incongruous to the beauty of this place. Also, ours was the nearest site to the road because I like being close to the bathroom.

Wherever you camp you are surrounded by Xmas trees. The ones around us were only 1 foot tall. Our site backed into a tree line where we setup hammocks in the shade. If it wasn’t for the regimented rows of trees you would think you were in the wilderness. Nothing and no one to see in most direction.

My 14 year old Daughter Iris wants to go back. What more can I say. (They have WiFi and decent cell reception. That made Iris happy too)

Sites are nestled in small clearings among the Xmas trees. It was not busy on the night we were there (only 3 sites taken) but even if it were full it would not feel crowded at all since they are well spaced - very easy to recreate here while staying covid safe. Site 4 had plenty of room for our tent plus room to play frisbee, bocce, etc. There was a fire pit, logs to sit on, and a picnic bench there when we arrived and the host came by a bit later with the wood and water we had preordered. Site 4 is a bit of a walk to the flush toilet in the barn (~10 mins) but there is also a portajohn mid-way near site 3. We had a cloudy night but it would have been a perfect spot for stargazing. A great location and we will definitely be back!!
