We had a great time tent camping on John's land. He and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. The pavilion with showers and bathrooms were a great amenity. The location feels very private but is close to Athens, Hocking Hills, and several other state parks.
This place is awesome. We have already booked another date here. I almost don't want to leave a review because I don't want to share this place with anyone else. This place is super quiet at night, it is dark enough at night that we saw the MilkyWay. The bathrooms were great, hot water and a flush toilet. The pavilion is also great for rain or super sunny days.
Very nice hidden spot with only a few campsites. Lots of space to stretch out and the pavilion with bathrooms was a nice amenity. Quick 15 drive to Athens and nature all around!
Great place to camp. Off the grid. First night we were the only people there. Second night another couple checked in but sites are so spread out you wouldn’t of known there was another couple there. Shower and bathrooms were clean and well kept. Would definitely camp there again. Camped there with kids and a pug. John and his wife were great and attentive with any needs. John’s wife even brought a football for my son to play with and bubbles and jump ropes for the girls to enjoy. Had a shelter with picnic tables to enjoy if raining and unable to enjoy at camp site. Even had picnic table for children. We even forgot one of our folding chairs and they allowed us to use one of theirs which was very nice and helpful.

John is an excellent host, and his camp property is fantastic. It was very peaceful. He takes excellent care of the entire property, and his communication was top notch. The restrooms were extremely clean and the shelter was great. We highly recommend John’s campsite! Oh, and the location is excellent.
Great primitive site with excellent firepit, picnic table and bonus flush toilet and hot shower! There is plenty of space, the ground is pretty flat, and the bathroom is wonderful. We didn't need to use the shelter with the tables and chairs as the weather was nice, but we appreciate the offer to use them. The attached swivel grill on the large firepit was very cool. The only word of caution is that the driveway is a steep uphill with a few curves. We had a large van and no problems getting up. I would hesitate with motorcycles, but would still do it in the daylight. The hosts, Julie and John were gracious and welcoming, and very quick to respond to texts.
OffGrid Venue is a fantastic camping spot. The restroom and shelter were immaculate. The hosts were perfectly accommodating - we arrived after dark in the rain and they greeted us and had made a fire for us! It was quiet and there were nicely cleared walking trails around the property. We can’t wait to visit again!

Enjoyed our stay at the OffGrid campsite! John and his wife were great hosts who met us upon arrival and showed us around the property. We loved having the bathroom facilities so close to the campsites. We would definitely stay again in the future!
It was a very beatuful camp spot. The accomindations were way above grade and the hoste john was more then willing to please us. Since all wood was wet do to rain the shelter was way great and he helped us try to get a fire going but it was nice wx enough to be comfortable.
Would highly recomed the place if on a trip or alumni event or solo. Great experiance. FISH.
