Hidden gem blissful oasis!
Kathy is fantastic! Her property is a hidden gem and gorgeous. I brought my english mastiff with me and we both had a lovely time. It was peaceful, clean and pure bliss! five out of five stars! Pure bliss!
We were fortunate to be one of the first to stay at Graceful Pastures. We got the 1st tent site, which was quite isolated and pastoral. The owners came to say hi and brought us the wood we bought previously. Great camping site for the price.
My wife dog and I enjoyed our private open wooded campsite. The site was large, shaded, and had good cover and distance from the other sites. While it was a very hot day and night, we were completely shaded and had a nice area to explore in what felt like our private patch of woods. The host were very friendly and attentive to any needs we had. We would come back for another low-key relaxing camping trip.
It was good! There was nothing wrong with the site at all, just your typical camp spot. There were logs to sit on and a fire pit, along with a portapotty. The weather was bad and our tent got soaked, but we were very grateful to have a campsite for the night.
Large sites. Only four available that I knew of. If you want secluded and primitive, great spot. No picnic tables. No dumpsters. Just a fire ring and a patch of woods. I purchased fire wood on my stay and it was less expensive and larger quantity then typical. Port o John was clean and accessible from any campsite.
Site was well maintained and owners were very friendly and accommodating. 4 campsites here, I believe, 1 tent and 3 RV. All within eyesight of each other, but not right on top of each other either. The tent campsite is a little farther from the others. You park right next to the campsite, and the road next to it is just a private drive and the traffic is minimal. Camping areas have a good tree canopy and I didn't see any poison ivy anywhere. the Porta-Potty was a very short walk from the tent. Also didn't see a single mosquito while I was there which impressed me. We had a great time, thanks!
Great stay! quiet and easy to find.
This site was fantastic!! Very private, lots of good trees (we are hammock campers), good size firepit and easy to find! We booked pretty last minute and Kathleen was quick to respond. We had also ordered a bundle of wood and it was delivered quickly and there was PLENTY! We have stayed at Hip camps with friends, but this was my first time booking and it was a great, quick and easy experience. Highly recommended!!! :)
