We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kim and Leigh were so friendly, and their dog Sam was very welcoming to our pup. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. We even tested out the outdoor solar shower ~ which was nice to rinse off the bug spray and campfire smoke before turning in. We woke up to the sunrise and birds chirping, very peaceful. If you're looking to relax and be in nature, this is the place! 11/10, would recommend.

Staying in the Honey Hut was a very nice experience. Kim really has thought of everything.
PROS-
-location (30 mins most to downtown Asheville)
-Privacy
-shower and bathroom available
-Large COMFY bed
-Fire pit and access to wood
-all the essentials there ready for using
CONS-
-wouldn’t consider a con but it came as a bit of a surprise. The walk up from the parking lot to the honey hut is not suitable for handicap as it is quite steep! This hill is necessary however to get that sweet view. It also helped me burn off some of the calories I stuffed my face with in town!!
This place is so charming, confortable and quiet. If you are going to visit the area, it is worth staying here! It is so close to so many cool places and just a quick drive to Asheville. Everything was very clean and well set up! Even the privacy aspects of it! It felt so secluded. Huge thumbs up to Kim and her little casita! Thank you for having us! 🙏🏼
My girlfriend and I loved our time at The Honey Hut over New Years Weekend! A quaint little cabin with all your basic needs and a helpful host, it makes for a cozy and comfortable stay. The first day was rainy but it didn't keep us from having a good time!
I rented the Honey Hut for a post-semester solo getaway and it was exactly what I had hoped and expected. The hut is within relatively close proximity to other houses/neighbors so that I felt safe, but was still very private. The hut was just as cute and clean as the photos and Kim provides a great array of cooking utensils so that I was able to make some delicious meals even over a propane stove. I would definitely recommend for a solo trip or couple looking for a few days away from home especially during COVID.
Everything was great!! We loved our visit.
The Honey Hut was a perfect retreat. I loved the setup and how cozy it was. Despite the rain both days, we were still able to sit outside and enjoy the evening. It was very clean, peaceful and private. The location was great to hit day hikes and enjoy downtown Weaverville. I highly recommend this location!
Kim was a wonderful host! The Honey Hut was private and secluded, with some wonderful mountain views. The interior was neat and tidy and the kitchen had everything you could need. The outdoor deck was a favorite of mine, as well. The location is great, as well...you feel like you are in the mountains, yet you are only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Would definitely recommend this place, and would stay here again.
Really lovely and special little spot. Private and clean, will be back again.
