We had a serene relaxing weekend at beautiful unique location. Thank you Liz!
We had a wonderful family vacation here at the Heart Center. Liz is an excellent host who is caring, friendly, and makes her guests feel comfortable. She has an extensive knowledge of the area with recommendations on hikes and other activities. The yurt was clean and just the right size for our family of four. It was well furnished with three beds (two twins and a double) a small table and some chairs. The bathrooms in the gym were clean and well stocked. Had it rained, there was more than enough to keep us busy and active in the gym. There are some great hikes in the area to help you enjoy the natural beauty of Western North Carolina. I highly recommend this place.
Could not have asked for a better experience! The yurts were beautiful and cozy. The property allows for privacy, while also having a sense of community. Highly recommend!!
We loved staying at the Heart Center! Our host Liz is a wonderful warm person and the surroundings are beautiful. We hope to return often
Liz is a very friendly and spiritual host. Her property had several amenities such as sports equipment, kitchen area, showers and restrooms, and several areas to just relax. While we were booked for two nights we only managed to stay for one because of the heat inside of the yurt at night time, which made sleeping impossible. The yurt had poor ventilation and smelled musky making it even less bearable. There was a fan provided, but could not be used because of power outage issue with the power feed to the yurts. While we would recommend this site in general, we don't recommend staying in the yurts.
This space is peaceful and calming. We loved the yurt and all the common areas were really wonderful!
We stayed 2 nights at The Heart Center in the orange yurt and couldn't have loved it more. The yurt itself is charming and comfortable. The isolated wooded setting is ideal for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We had a fire in the fire pit and enjoyed s'mores both nights. Liz greeted us and welcomed our kids and dog with open arms. We enjoyed exploring the labyrinth, the gym and the morning coffee at the cafeteria was much appreciated! We explored all that the area had to offer and the location couldn't be better for waterfall hikes, seeing the massive trees at Joyce Gilmer and marveling at Fontana Dam. We hope to be back soon!

We loved staying at the Mongolian Yurt at The Heart Center! It exceeded our expectations and was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring the Smoky Mountains. Liz was an amazing host and she gave us great recommendations for places to hike and swim. The site was very clean and peaceful and it was great to have warm water to take showers after camping for a few days prior. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would recommend checking it out! We only stayed for two nights and wished we had more time there.
