Learn more about this land: The Guesthouse on Little Mountain offers great mountain views in a pastoral setting across from an 1850’s farm house on the lower slope of Little Mountain. The dark skies at night make for wonderful stargazing.   Enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the screen porch where you can watch for the deer, raccoons, coyotes and of course our famous white squirrels.  On the property is a small rock quarry rumored to date to the civil war. Walking distance from locally sourced craft beer at Sideways Farm and Brewery. About 15 minutes drive to DuPont Forest and Pisgah Forest, multiple French Broad River access points within 10 minutes drive. The Henderson/Transylvania county area is rife with waterfalls, white squirrels, craft breweries, cideries, wineries, boutique shopping and Farm to Table dining. The home interior is handicap friendly however there are 4 steps leading up to the back door.  (preferred entry door)

The Guesthouse on Little Mountain
The place was amazing. Great location. Beautiful views. Quiet. Private. Easy access to the property. Host was easy to contact, friendly, and helpful. Home was beautifully furnished and stocked beyond imagination: frosted beer mugs in the freezer, a bottle of chilled wine in the frig. Coffee maker, coffee press basically felt like I walked into my own place. Bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, soap , toothpaste, razors etc. we felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel! Place was immaculate. We will definitely be going back. Haven’t even mentioned the amazing porch and beautiful decorations. I could go on, but I think you get the point. Thanks Barbara!!
