Son Jake did an awesome green/healthy remodel on a travel trailer. It is tucked away in the mountains with its own little fenced in yard for pets. Secluded yet accessible, you will need an all wheel drive or 4x4 vehicle to access it. It is located right in the heart of "all things Smokies".

Amazing getaway from the city
We loved staying at Jake’s place! Very secluded, clean, comfy and just lovely to be in. Duke was a very gracious host and helped us with everything we needed (including an early morning jumpstart). We enjoyed the property and spent the evenings grilling, listening to music and enjoying the woods. The place itself is clean and has a toilet inside and a cold shower. The hot shower is just up the road, and what a view from there! The beds were comfy and the place clean. We loved the stay and will be back again!
Inspirational, peaceful and quiet
My 2021 Adventure took me to Jakes Place. I may have found Utopia! I had the area to myself and the five days of total peace and quiet rejuvenated my Soul!
Started with the most interesting and kind Host “Duke” meeting me to show me up the mountain and share history that gave me a safe feeling about my home away from home! The attention to detail to bring mountain charm is everywhere! A once in a lifetime experience is to shower up in the tree shower overlooking the smoky mountains. Daytime with the sunshine and nighttime with the stars. Much more than a shower!
If you stay at the “Waddle and Daub” you find not only extraordinary art work on the walls done by Mrs Ellington,
you learn how to make a mud house and why!
I could go on and on but I am making my spring stay for four more days very soon!
Quaint outdoor space
Duke was very welcoming and it was a beautiful place to be. We went with young kids and they enjoyed the area. It has fun things like horseshoes and an outdoor pool table nearby. There is an adjacent building to the camper which should be closed off (tools, ladder, personal items, etc.). Campers should be aware that there are nice dogs nearby, which is great if you are a dog lover.
