Happy first timers
Randy was an awesome host! He was quick to respond and the campground was great. When we arrived we knew exactly where to go, the shade provided at the site was unexpected but extremely handy. The river that ran beside the tent provided a nice calming sound. Other campers were quiet, although closer than we had expected, I think all guests were very respectful of each other. The portable bathrooms were well maintained as well. This place made our first tent camping trip as two memorable and we will be back! Randy informed us before leaving of upgrades he plans on making so it’ll be fun to come back and see! We also only stayed for one night so we hope to go back and spend more time hiking and enjoying what all this place has to offer
We loved our time at serenity haven
We enjoyed our time here. Our site (#13) was nice and clean. The overall campground was the same. The campground is on a very quiet road and therefore very quiet. The creek was beautiful and had it not stormed the night of our stay, we would have built a campfire and sat outside a long while.
We stayed during the 4th of July weekend. The setting it awesome. The river us right in front. There's sail shades at some of the sights. Randy is very helpful and accommodating. The only issue we had was the last night we stayed there was a big group about 4 sights down that were up til 3 or 4am loudly talking. We could actually make out exactly what they were talking about. Rules like quiet times are heavily enforced. Only suggestion would be to go on no holiday weekends. Besides that everything was relaxing and pleasant. The port a johns were a clean and sanitary!
Very serene...quiet and family friendly campground. Host Randy is very responsive and accommodating. Campground is easily accessible from 421 before the big incline starts so good spot to stay close to Boone without having to go up the mountain. Randy was available for any help needed. Will definitely come back.
