We had such a relaxing stay at Reems Creek Retreat! The stream provided a fantastic sound --- and --- view. Everything was wonderful --- and --- we could not recommend it more for a place to rest and relax. Our host, Thom, was super helpful, too!

Beautiful campsite beside a creek. The host, Thom, was wonderful. He suggested restaurants and nearby hiking. My black lab loved the campsite and playing in the creek!

Reems Creek Retreat exceeded all expectations! The site was huge. We drive a 40’ RV plus tow car and and we didn’t even fill half the site. The creek is so beautiful and sounds so peaceful. We ended up unhooking our car in Thom’s driveway (across the street) to make the turn in. We should’ve taken the first driveway, as it’s a pull through, but didn’t realize it at first. The upper part of the drive is pretty level, but does require a little leveling. If you park further down, it’s a slope. Thom so very graciously provides 50amp hook up and wifi! My husband works from home and when I check in with Thom before booking, he went to the site to check how connectivity for us. That was above and beyond. We have Verizon and it was hit or miss depending where you stood, but worked well enough for what we needed. Thom came to make sure we were all set and offered suggestions for the area. We traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiked around Craggy Rock and visited the studio walk in Asheville. We enjoyed the Wag Bar in Weaverville, which is a dog park bar. But more than anything we wanted to spend time at this site! We had a fire with some wood that was provided, let the dogs explore the creek and took in the views. Highly recommend! We are all so lucky that Thom is willing to share his slice of heaven.

The area was beautiful, right on the creek.Thom had firewood in a wood shelter for us, although we didnt get to use it as it rained the 2days we were there. We had a pop-up and it wasn't pouring rain, we stayed dry except for walking the dogs and checking out the creek! It was a great time and place! Check it out!

This was our second time staying at Thom's spot by Reem Creek. We love it. So close to the Blue Ridge parkway so lots of hiking options. We love building a fire and listening to the creek babble. So relaxing!

Such a lovely spot. The creek is wonderful. Thom was hunting but his wife said hello. Nice and quiet. We couldn’t get WiFi to work, but that’s ok we didn’t need it. Thom did send it but after we left. No big deal. Would love to stay again. Thank you Thom!

We loved our stay at Thom's little slice of peaceful heaven. This site is a pull-thru site that fit our 22-foot skoolie with plenty of space left over. Upon our arrival, Thom came to make sure everything was as we preferred and was very friendly.
He knows a lot about the land around him, and was able to rattle off some great places to go check out. His land is not far from the Blue Ridge parkway and other beautiful landmarks. The stream at the site was the right amount of peaceful noise, without becoming a problem of trying to go to sleep. Thom has ample amount of firewood available to make a nice big fire in a self-made stone fire pit.
He has a 50A hookup with an adapter for 30A to accommodate everyone. We also has Wifi available so we were even able to get some work done during the day and stream a movie at night which was a fun little treat.
Would definitely stay here again.

A perfect way to end our stay at Reems Creek Retreat. Ah, the sounds of a crackling fire can lull you to sleep.
We set up our twinkly lights for a bit of a nightlight. But turn them off and you can see the stars through the trees!
The wifi there was so helpful! We were able to do our work and stream a movie in the evening. Wish we could've stayed longer - this would be a great way to work from home if you needed a change of scenery.
