My family spent Thanksgiving in Peter’s beautiful tree house. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Peter is a very gracious host. The site has everything you could possibly need. My children didn’t want to leave and are already asking when we can go back. This was our rescue pups first camping trip and he didn’t want to leave either.

I booked the treehouse for my daughter and I. It was absolutely beautiful and amazing. Peter and Margaret were wonderful hosts and responded very quickly with any questions we had. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Steaming hot showers, an induction stove as well as a propane stove. All cookware and dishes provided. Dishwashing liquid and cleaners and a hose with hot & cold water to wash dishes. It got down into the low 30s at night but we were perfectly warm inside with the heater provided. The treehouse sits right on the edge overlooking the amazing Smoky Mountains. All the leaves were changing for fall and it was gorgeous. There is a fishpond with a waterfall and a sitting swing above it for you to enjoy the beauty of it. A little trail leads to 2 large swings with a firepit that also overlooks the mountains. There is also a firepit on the deck of the treehouse and a trail leading to a playground. There are games, books and movies for you to enjoy and a nice Roku flat-screen TV. There is a microwave, a cooler fridge/freezer to store your food. You have access to their kayaks, canoes and paddle boards too. Life jackets, fishing rods, tackle and lots of other goodies are there to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. It is very safe. You are in a gated community when you first enter. Then you drive more up the mountain and the entrance to go to the treehouse is also gated and locked. So is the treehouse itself. We enjoyed it SO much! Thank you :)

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Glenville High Treehouse. We had a lovely visit with Peter when we arrived!! This space has an AMAZING view. We had rain during our stay, and seeing the fog roll in and out was magical. Our two teenagers loved the stash of games they found, and we played for hours - laughing and enjoying it all. It was a great space to get away, to be in the mountains with a 5-star view, peace and quiet. Thank you for making this space available to enjoy. We loved it.

Great location (near Cashiers and Highlands) and full of everything you need to do glamping right! Great views and access to a lake that is pretty and quiet (but do not try and walk there; it’s bloody miles away!) We had terrible weather, but still enjoyed hunkering down in the treehouse. Peter is an attentive host who even tried to fix things that were clearly beyond his control (the weather!) Very much recommended.

Loved staying at Peter’s place! It was so quiet and peaceful. We had a lot of rain so we were happy to be in a sturdy structure. The space was perfect for 2 of us and our dog. And it has everything you need!!! We brought a lot more than was necessary. The privacy tent was convenient- shower was great and the toilet was easy to use. We wish we had been more strategic about the toilet but we know now! It’s a lot to dispose of and not sure we did so correctly. Peter was in touch to check in and answered our questions promptly. We’d definitely return!

The perfect mix of nature and amenities! This was by far the most relaxing and rejuvenating mountain stay I've had thus far. We drank tea and sat on the porch while the storm rolled in over the mountains... I painted and we meditated and truly got to enjoy solitude. Peter is always helpful, without being intrusive. Will be back!
