This was an awesome glamping experience! The views are very beautiful and a perfect way to wake up! It was also nice to have the addition of a cooking stove, microwave and coffee pot plus a hot shower! 😊
We happened to have hit a very rainy week but it was still gorgeous!
Our dog and cat both had a great time and Peter was an excellent host. Definitely an awesome stay and we’ll be back for sure!
Comfortable, clean, and beautiful!
The space is clean and beautiful, the views are incredible, and everything was provided for a truly comfortable stay. Peter is also a thoughtful and responsive host, and I highly recommend this Hipcamp experience! Thank you, Peter!
The perfect hidden treehouse
Our 2 day trip to NC was one I won’t forget! So. Much. Greenery. So beautiful! We arrived to rain and our lovely host Peter went ahead and unlocked all the gates for us. We did get a little lost at first because we arrived at night but ONCE we found the area, the directions guided us perfectly to the treehouse. The treehouse is literally perfect. No other way to describe it. The view you get is breathtaking. The swings are such a nice touch to soak up that view! Peter even gave us fresh eggs for breakfast. The “mini” kitchen outside has everything you need! When it was time for us to leave, our very OLD pickup truck couldn’t make it out the driveway since it rained so much. We ended up needing a tow. Peter invited us into his LOVELY home, fed us, and all around really took great care of us. I HIGHLY recommend this location. He also has others with amazing views! Peter’s treehouse brought us there, but his hospitality will bring us back.
Very nice secluded spot with beautiful views! A lot of the work has already been done for you at this site. Just bring your provisions, sit back and relax. Peter was more then happy to give suggestions for outings in the area and was quick to respond to any questions we may have had. Would definitely recommend!
We had the best time! The view is unbelievable.. Sit in the swing chair have your coffee and soak in the view and beautiful surroundings … Mr. P came over see if we need anything. Have lots of pictures to remember our stay. Plan to return
Perfect weekend getaway
We were looking for something last minute and easy for the weekend when I came across this listing and this treehouse was absolutely perfect! The views were amazing and directions for everything were super helpful. The appliances made camping that much easier and were very convenient. The fridge/freezer combo was great for storing all of our food, so we only needed to worry about ice and a cooler for drinks. We had a great time canoeing the lake during the day and enjoying the fire pit at night, we will definitely be back!
Great way.2.disconnect & reconnect
AGAIN WOW!! This place is amazing it had everything we needed for camping! We wanted to go camping but we didn’t want to pack EVERYTHING needed to have a fun weekend away in the woods and this the place was the spot!! Everything from fishing, canoeing, kayaking, incredible views, waterfalls, cooking amenities and utensils.
Can’t wait to go back!
Just WOW, the most spectacular view i have experienced while staying in the Carolina or Tennessee mountains! Such a unique place to stay, nestled on the side of the mountain among the trees with unobstructed view of the mountains and valley. While we had all the supplies we needed, Peter seems to have thought of everything that one might need. The property was beautiful and close to all kinds of amazing natural attractions, waterfalls, trout streams, hiking trails, and fun little mountain towns for when you we needed something. If you are looking to get out in nature but be comfortable and have everything you need, i would highly recommend glamping at the treehouse!
