This was our first trip to the Saluda area. It didn’t disappoint. Saluda is such a cute town, wonderful people, and super convenient to the campsite.
The campsite was very private, well kept, and the bathroom was really clean. The hosts were wonderful! We had car issues and they were super helpful.
Super convenient to Hendersonville, Asheville, and so much more. Great trip!
The tent pad was quite small, barely fitting my 2-person tent. The campsite is located right next to the host's house, just across the driveway. The hosts were kind and unobtrusive, so the proximity to the house wasn't so bad, especially for a woman camping alone. However, there was VERY loud music being played from somewhere in the vicinity, and it went on all evening and into the wee hours of the morning; sounded like a night club?? The bath facility was very nice, including a shower.
Peaceful, convenient camping site!
Upper Green Dream was the perfect spot for our Labor Day weekend camping trip! The site was easy to find and the location was very convenient. Our site was across from the owners’ house but still felt very private and quiet. It was really nice having a bathhouse close by and easy access to water and a place to put our trash. There are only two sites at this campground so it was MUCH more peaceful than a public campground would be. We were very pleased with our camping experience and would definitely recommend to others!
Three bestfriends in the mountains
Great little spot. Went here with my two bestfriends to spend some time away from the crazy. Morgan and Angie were incredibly kind and open to anything we needed help with. Such a beautiful property. Close to Saluda (super cute town) and close to waterfalls. Great stay. Clean bathroom with shower.
After dropping my 18 year old daughter off at UNC Chapel Hill I needed to getaway. I saw my campsite and I cried. It was just what I needed to process the day! First time using Hipcamp and this was just what I needed. Loved the lush, privacy of it. There was a nice plumbed toilet down the way.
Heard some partiers a street away but just stuck some earplugs in and all was good. They quieted down at midnight. Hey Everyone needs to let loose in their own way. I cried … they partied. Love this little place.
Free firewood 🪵 too but I forgot my lighter and bug spray so bummer for me.
Absolutely fantastic getaway
Morgan & Angie were amazing hosts. When we had a mix up (on our part) about the location, they were compassionate and accommodating. The campsite itself felt private and safe, with a good fire pit, picnic table and one raised platform.
We loved having a shower just down the hill from us. What a treat to have hot water and good pressure after a long day of hiking! Little Bradley Falls Trail was close by and one of the most adventurous hikes I’ve ever done. 🏕
There are plenty of waterfalls and hikes in the area and the site is close enough to Hendersonville and Saluda to run errands or go for a nice lunch!
Also, as a family of animal lovers we were happy we got to spend time with their grey and white cat we lovingly called “Gelatin”.
Thank y’all so much for having us!
The two sites were well pepped and deep on the high cpu try. Communication was great. We just pivoted our plans down by the river.
Carry on what you need as this is a remote location but only 15-20 minutes from Hendersonville and Saluda. Go fotr it
Nice location and beautiful land
The campsite was a pretty spot that made you feel like you were in the woods camping alone (campsite 2). The bathhouse was a nice luxury with an enclosed shower and toilet. The bathhouse had a separate wall with hiking maps that we really enjoyed looking at while waiting on one another. We did not stay long but I would have stayed longer. The campsite host was friendly with great communication. I would recommend this campsite if you want to be in the woods away from other campsites with a short walk to a bathhouse. Beautiful land.
