Is a great spot for a weekend get-a-way or a week long stay in the area…. There is so much to do and visit in the area!

From hiking to museums; good food to scenic drives.. you really would have to try to get bored. If it rains a day or two no big deal, the cabin has a ton of games to kee you busy or head out to a museum, there are several through out the area.

The cabin was lovely, we really enjoyed our stay. Very private, lots of nice little touches that let you know the owners want your experience to be a good one. It was very relaxing and we loved exploring the area. My littles (2 and 4) loved getting energy out in the yard and climbing up and down into the loft. It was wonderful, thank you!!

This cabin was super cozy and fun! It is stocked with plenty of games, movies, kitchen necessities. The porch is spacious and the hosts here great! We made so many memories and would definitely go back! The kids loved it too!

Goodness gracious, if I could move here, I would. Perfect, simple cabin to escape from it all. It snowed a ton when I was here, so I wasn't able to best utilize the outdoor space, but whether watching the stars on the porch or sitting around the fire pit, this would be a perfect place to unwind outdoors. The magic was on a different level with the late season snow. Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary cigars, a rad loft space, super helpful hosts, etc etc etc. I could go on and on. If you're looking for a peaceful cabin space with history and character in western NC, this is exactly that. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

View of the cabin from the creek. That porch was a dang dream. So you've gotta climb a ladder to get to the beds in the main cabin area, which I pretended was like a Class 3 climb as I was trying to find motivation to go down and make breakfast.Carved wooden chairs near the fire pit. Skipped using these since there were 3-4 inches of fresh snow acting as a seat cushion.Icy steps, but only a couple.
