Our home was built in 1904 and we have been lovingly restoring it since 2020. The camping field is a large space behind the main house that we do not use except as a garden space. It has a small labyrinth, fire pit, and picnic table. We do have neighbors nearby and the field is pretty open as landscaping is in progress. That being said, it is a quiet community! There is a lovely view of the surrounding hills and the night sky and summer fireflies are amazing! We are part of the Big Ivy Community and 13 miles north of Asheville. Hiking, biking, rafting, rafting, ziplining and more are all nearby. We are easily accessible to all things WNC including groceries, dining, gas and main roads. We do have 2 dogs that may roam from time to time though we will try to keep them away from the field during your stay. We are happy to answer any questions and will offer as much privacy as possible…but the garden may need to be tended to!Lovely daytime and night time views! We are a great home base for all things WNC! Close to I-26, Big Ivy, Mars Hill, Marshall, Weaverville and Asheville. This is a spot for quiet campers to relax after exploring the area. This is not a secluded spot but does feel peaceful! Pets welcome but should be on a lead.
