It's a very unique but awesome spot. Very close to the lake and boy is it a nice place to visit. It's a great home base for the koka amphitheater. We went to a 3 night Billy Strings run and the site was only 22 minutes driving from the venue. I'd def recommend camping here

What a unique campsite you have!! Camping next to the stream was great for our 2 kids to play in and sleeping with the sound of the water was lovely. Our only complaint was the closeness to the road, hearing cars driving by in the middle of the night reminded us of home. We live next to a busy road and hear cars nightly, so getting away to camp we were hoping to not hear that. The deck, picnic table, fire pit, and pop-up potty was great, and the twinkle lights were the icing on the cake! Our only suggestion is having a gate added to close behind your car, so that your vehicle is not easily accessible to other drivers on the road. Since the campsite is down the hill, you’re not able to see your vehicle and know that it is safe, protected from people driving by.
The location was beautiful and really close to all the state parks and beaches. I enjoyed the sounds of the creek, and it is nice that the camping platform is elevated.

Autumn. Awesome! Thank you for appreciating the location, the trickles of the creek and the deck. It was designed for you to enjoy nature and I’m glad we accomplished that. You are always welcome back, and thank you for supporting our efforts to protect and preserve nature.
