Peaceful little oasis in the middle of the country—plenty of shade available too, which is important when camping in NC in June. Great birding too! Perfect for an evening bike ride. As for tent camping, there’s no picnic table or raised surface so be prepared with a table. The frogs burst into chorus at sunset which I personally loved, but a consideration for folks who might be sensitive to that sound.
The pond is wonderful seeing fish jumping see wild life ducks other birds and oh yeah in the evening the frogs want to be heard lol .

This place is fantastic and the owners are some the nicest people we’ve ever met through this website. Highly recommend!!
Very beautiful place with lots of nature around! We saw 2 different species of turtles, and all sorts of waterfowl. Picnic tables would make the place among the best!

We had the best time there this weekend. Amazing piece of property, so well maintained. You could tell they really cared about the land and really wanted to share it with visitors. Went above and beyond and even got us some camp stove bottles when we forgot them. Hearing the turkeys and owls at night was so good!! If you want a great relaxing weekend of fishing and walking this is the place…staff was excellent and we really appreciated you having us!!

This place was well taken care of, the hosts were super nice and welcoming, that’s really an understatement. They both went well beyond any expectations to make sure my boys and I had anything we needed. Definitely family oriented and a very nice place to camp. We will definitely be back for fishing and more camping! 100% would recommend this place for all ages and all experience levels for camping.
