Come camp at our private mountain top oasis! Only located 20 minutes from Boone, 10 minutes from West Jefferson, and 12 minutes from the New River in downtown Todd! Quick access to hiking trails, climbing, paddling, and so much more!

You will have plenty of options to camp considering we have a level dirt pad for tent camping as well as a gravel pad if you are bringing up your adventure vehicle! 4x4 highly highly recommended as the road is rough. If there is rain, 4WD is the only way you can get up.

Our acre is extremely private and feels as if you're camping on public lands out West. You will have your own wooded mountain top with some views! You also get service at the very top and most with Verizon will have full bars everywhere. You will have access to our fire pit as well as a grill but you would have to bring your own propane if you wish to use it.

This is a very primitive campsite so make sure you come prepared! Practice Leave No Trace guidelines. If you packed it in, you MUST pack it out!

I absolutely love this site! It was exactly what we needed as we traveled through the area.

Great spot. Very private and secluded. The fire pit is awesome and the gravel pad is super level. There is a bigger pad up the hill as well but we opted for the gravel pad since it was less muddy. We had some rain but the tree cover was great and kept us dry.

You ABSOLUTELY need a 4x4 to get to both spots. I would not attempt this without a 4x4. Our 4Runner got us up and down with ease.
Thanks for hosting us!

Neat place. Rain and a travel trailer made it a challenge to get to, but worth it.

Directions to get to the site were clear. I would second the recommendation to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Gravel pad was flat so I didn’t have to level the vehicle. Private location. Close enough to Boone that I stopped in and visited a brewery before checking out the site.

This is very nice secluded camp ground for thoes looking for a more authentic camping experience.

The driveway up is very bad however, so unless your car is lifted and has 4 wheel drive I wouldn't recommend going here
