My partner and I had an amazing time at this property. The host is beyond hospitable and so kind. The stars are gorgeous and so is the land. 12/10 review!
Beautiful location and great hosts. Unfortunately their neighbors started blasting music at 11pm and kept at it until 4 in the morning, punctuated with celebratory gunfire. This was on a Saturday so maybe not always an issue and not the hosts’ fault, but all the same not the quiet night in the country I was hoping for.
We planned a very last minute trip and Morgan and Anita were so kind and welcoming. The land felt peaceful, convenient, and safe. Loved having access to water and Saxapahaw. There was a lot of hustle and bustle on the land during the day but the camping spot still felt serene at night. Our dog had a great time running around. If bringing a dog make sure they will come when called because there was hunting going on nearby and cows next door. thanks so much y’all!
Amazing spot! So peaceful and just an overall wonderful stay. Such a hidden gem. Morgan is lovely and very accommodating.
We arrived for a 3 night stay at Morgan’s beautiful farm. Morgan was extremely flexible, as we arrived much later than originally anticipated. We had enough daylight to set up our tent, start up the fire, and make our first meal. Jax (our pup) helped collect firewood as there were plenty of big sticks for him to play with (and help dad out). Falling asleep to the sound of the babbling brook was so blissful, and being away from the city/ bright lights was a refreshing change. In the morning, we scooped up some creek water , made some hot coffee, and eased into our morning alongside the cows and calves. We checked out some awesome spots as recommended by the host (Saxapahaw was our favorite cute little town/ river community). For the other days we visited some pretty amazing trails/ hikes and escaped to the not- too- far town of Raleigh for some fun. We loved our entire stay and can’t wait come back !

It was so great to have you two here! Thanks for such good communication throughout the trip planning and for being really generous about offering help during your stay. Come back anytime.
This was a nice little area for a couple, or maybe a couple with one child. The lady who greeted us was super super nice and helpful. She gave us great detailed instructions, greeted us upon arrival, and was very polite. We had a great time!

My time camping at Morgan’s was a delight! The land is beautiful and spacious, but full of wonderful trees. I enjoyed waking to the sounds of running water from the creek, as well as birds and owls, as they too happily occupied the property. You can hike or find a spot to sit and take in all the beauty while there. Morgan was super helpful and kind in answering any questions. I can’t wait to go back!

Judy, your visit was such a treat. You are welcome here anytime, and I can't wait for your next visit. Thank you for your willingness to offer help and for your warm smile.
My husband and I had such a FANTASTIC time on Morgan's property! It was so peaceful and private with a great little creek right by the campsite! We brought our dog with us and she absolutely enjoyed going into the water and exploring around the campsite. There was a little bit of a walk from the car to the site, but Morgan let us use a wagon that she had so the walk was no problem at all! The land/campsite is amazing! Morgan is an amazing hostess! And, bonus, there is an adorable little tabby that we got to pet! I am adding a lot of photos to this review so make sure you take a look! I apologize in advance for all of the photos of my dog. Bottom line, if you are looking for the perfect place to camp, definitely go here. We will definitely be back.

Heather - you and Trey were such a delight to host. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for including so many photos in your review. I hope to see you both out here again soon.
This was our first experience on Hipcamp, and it was all around awesome. Morgan's property and hospitality were everything we could have asked for. The camp site was a few minute walk down a well manicured trail, and Morgan provided a wagon to make it easier. The spot we had was under the trees, right on the creek. Though it was a hot weekend (~90 degrees), the shaded campsite was a few degrees cooler, and had a perfect setup with a spot for our tent, a campfire, and a play / wash area for my 4-year old twins at the creek. There was the perfect amount (/lack of) cell reception - just enough to send pretty consistent texts, though we could walk up near the house to make calls as needed. Nighttime was dark, with noises of the babbling brook and wildlife. I was also shocked at the lack of mosquitoes. There were other insects (including fireflies), but we didn't get bit except a couple of times down by the creek. It was the perfect amount of roughing it without having to hike hours into the forest. The kids are already asking to go back.

Jake - you and your kiddos were an absolute delight to have here. I'm so glad they liked it, and want to come back. The cows have arrived, so they might enjoy meeting them on a camping trip in the future. You and your family are welcome here anytime. Thanks for clear and easy communication throughout the booking process and to all three of you for bringing such a kind and playful spirit to the land. Have a wonderful rest of your week.

Jesse, I am so sorry about this, truly. It feels so important to me to be able to offer people a restful/peaceful stay with only the sounds and sights of nature. I wish I'd known and could have offered a spot on the other side of the land. I do apologize - that's definitely not the experience I'd intended for you to have here.
