-********Schedule your next camping trip during one of our upcoming events at the Farm: Aug 14-15 Survival Skills Workshop Sept-Blue Jam on the Green-live band playing bluegrass and country performed on stage; blankets and coolers welcome. Free for everyone. No dogs, no smoking. October 2-Farm-to-table dinner, served outside at the Farm. Cost will be appx $45/pp. ******* Pitch a tent on the edge of the woods near a shallow creek and enjoy serenity and calm, the way nature intended. Our sheep, goats, donkeys and mini horses also have access to this area, which will allow you free interaction with them!
If you enjoy quietly watching wildlife, you're in for a treat...this magical portion of the property is where 2 small creeks connect and the forest provides cover--we encourage you to watch and listen for songbirds, owls, deer, red-tailed hawks, red fox and wild turkey.
We are not available for camping during the week; the Farm is only open weekends, so arrive Friday afternoon to start your weekend with nature!
Tent camping only in this area; pop-up campers and tow-behinds have a high probability of getting stuck. If you have one of these vehicles, let us know and we may be able to accommodate your request in another pasture but there is no picnic table, porta potty or firepit area.
On Saturday and Sunday, we open the Farm gates at 10am so you can stop by the Snack Shack for a cup of fresh coffee and a muffin. We will have home-baked goodies like quiche or pie and/or hot soup and chili!
Next to the Snack Shack is a 130-year old corn crib that has been converted to Charlie's Farm Store and carries fresh eggs, lavender, buttermilk and butter from our farm, and milk, ice cream, honey, peanut butter, jams an jellies, soaps, and fiber goods from other local farms.
At the barn there are picnic tables and a free Petting Zoo behind the barn. Whether you are wanting to explore the Farm by yourself, or enjoy a little interaction with our locals, you will find it here because there is always something going on!
A word of caution; although the pasture where the camping area is is flat and grassy, it can get soggy after rain or snow so your vehicle must be a 4WD (not AWD) if you plan to park near the creek. Parking near the entrance gate is advised where it is drier if you have an AWD. If you only have a 2WD we do not recommend our Farm for your Hipcamp destination.

We had a wonderful experience here! Seeing the children have fun with the sheep and other animals was awesome! Cheryl was extremely accommodating and we can't wait to come back soon!
Beautiful property and animals!
Beautiful property and very accommodating! Highly recommended if you enjoy seeing a lot of fun animals and beautiful, hilly country. Very friendly host!
We had a wonderful time camping with the sheep! Brought our two girls - ages 2.5 and 4.5 and they LOVED it. So many sweet animals to meet and Cheryl was the most gracious host.
Cheryl was nice and accommodating! The creek side camping spot was perfect to pull into and set up camp. Very private. Sheep and goats wandered through randomly which was fun. There was a designated fire pit, picnic table, and we had added firewood and s’mores to our stay which were waiting for us when we arrived. The next morning we wandered up to the camp store for coffee and fresh egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches.
