If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
First off, Brad is great, every time we had questions he was there to help! There was almost everything we needed available on site with the exception of a weed eater( the grass/weeds on campsite were very long). The hiking trails close to the site were difficult to navigate however there are many pretty attractions around.
Me and my two dogs had a good time at brads location. The trails inside the property lines could use some TLC. I don't recommend even attempting to go here without a 4x4 vehicle, you won't make it. Trail is big enough for a full size pickup though. (14 tundra on 35's 4high) Definitely will go back!
If you are looking for privacy this is the place. Site is a bit cluttered but other than that it was a dream come true. Great cell service too if you are into that sort of thing.
Great, secluded campsite
Beautiful, secluded property. We loved being able to access several hiking trails on the property, some of which lead to USFS property. Many of the trails were steep and primitive, but we really enjoyed the challenge and knowing that we would not encounter other hikers. The host has a great set up at the base camp- flush toilet, solar shower, fire pit, well cleared and level camp site. With good weather and road conditions, we were easily able to access camp in a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 in 4H. We would definitely camp here again.
This is an amazing piece of property - you are alone on 147 acres in beautiful mountain country. Brad's info packet is an incredibly detailed resource to the local flora and fauna. The site is up a steep but well maintained dirt road. The site is level and works well with our rooftop tent. The land has a number of trails to explore. Communication with Brad is immediate and detailed. Highly recommended.
This is the best off grid property!
If you’re looking to try your skills “off the grid” this is the perfect spot. We were blown away with the property’s size and overall experience. Very cool camp site and is exactly what we’d want in a “off grid” layout. Brad was very helpful and insightful about the property and answered all questions. Me and a buddy we’re searching for a place relatively close to Knoxville, TN that met our criteria and found it here with Brad. We looked for quite some time and let me tell you that this property is a hidden gem. We will no doubt be back!
