This property is home to a sustainable farm that is entering its first full season in 2021, growing specialty produce and a wide range of flowers!  It’s quite the adventure to build it. Plenty of sweaty struggles and lessons to be learned… But such is the path to a brighter future! It’s a humble project of hope. Learn more about this land: Calm your mind as soon as you drive up! We have forest, field, and rolling hills under a wide-open sky.  Lots of space to hike, a 5min drive from the lake (with beach!) and 10minutes from picturesque Cooperstown. All that while still feeling wild and remote - think lots of birdsong and no light pollution.  We're also a farm in the making (see zomermeadows.com), but any crops and greenhouses are far away from your tent.

      Private Campsite Amazing Lake View
      This place was seriously another planet. The view was amazing and Heske has been absolutely kind and gave us complete privacy as well as easy directions to the site. The table on site definitely came in handy too. In the daytime, we saw tons of birds and even a few deer coming out of the woods. We also saw a black bear walking down the hill. At night, we could hear coyotes in the distance and owls talking! One owl sure gave us a spook when we were sleeping and decided to sing in the tree next to our tent! Of course, campers should be mindful of ticks and wasps. If you're looking for super private camp spots, this is it! This is easily our new favorite spot to camp!

      An incredible camping spot, perfectly secluded but close enough to downtown Cooperstown with plenty to do & see. Highly recommend to anyone!

      Private Campsite Amazing Lake View
      Heaven on Earth
      My wife and I were looking for a private camping getaway to recharge and came across this spot. We didn’t know what to expect but took a chance on it and all I can say is WOW! It far exceeded our expectations. The view and privacy were unmatched, and having Cooperstown a short drive away was icing on the cake. I highly suggest this spot if you’re looking for a spiritual experience with a loved one.

      Great lookout, best view on Hipcamp so far. It’s probably a little more than a quarter mile off the road, so do not be deterred: when you get there, you will know!
