Riverside site #8 is a larger river front site. It is next to the swimming area and where most people get out when tubing. Campers park and walk less than 100 feet to their designated camping spot. Campers are asked to stay on paths to protect native flowers and vegetation in this fragile area. Seats, table, fire pit, grill are on sight.

Large group camping!
Super friendly and extremely helpful and hospitable! The camp site we had was so so nice. Lots of space and had a nice fire pit and even included a charcoal grill and table for us.
Will definitely be back!
Site 8 was absolutely perfect for peace and quiet and it was just a short walk to access the water which was awesome. Randall answered any questions we had and greeted us upon arrival. We are definitely planning to return!
No bad apples
We had so much fun at river site #8. There is a great balance of privacy and community here. Fire pit, grill grate, folding table, and charcoal grill were provided. If weather is wet, consider you may need a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the drive out and up slope. Should be fine with dry conditions. For plant nerds, expect a good amount of invasive overgrowth here. However there is a lot to love and see. We valued the cleanliness of the site, the care of the outhouse, the river, and appreciate the family’s ability to manage such an area and know it’s happening with a lot of love. Thanks for having us!
Randall's land is AMAZING for camping. We've stayed in a site next to the stream before but went with a riverside site this time. It was perfect! There was a big clearing with a fire pit, log benches, a grill, and a table, all comfortably shaded in the woods. There is a super-clean outhouse - it didn't just not smell bad, it smelled GOOD (from the wood chips lining it). And then there's the river - visible from the site, and a 3 minute walk to get into it. It was glorious for a hot day. Randall's family and friends are sometimes around the riverside and are such kind folks.
I loved the camping at this beautiful place. We had a big group of people from all age group from 2 to 70 and everyone could settle in easily. Randal was very accommodating and helping people settle in. This site is close to toilet , car could be taken very close to the site and also has quick river access.
We also milked the goats !! Overall we all had good time. Thank you Randall and his family.
Randy has set up a really amazing camp site. The place is we’ll off the road and away from houses, probably close to half a mile, so you don’t feel like you’re sleeping in someone’s back yard. There are maybe a dozen sites on the property but the place is over 50 acres and you can’t see or hear anyone from any of the sites as far as I could tell. Site 8 is maybe a 1 minute walk from the outhouse. We filled water at the main house, which is maybe a 5 minute walk. There are animals to see as well. The best part, by far, was hanging at the river beach with the kids. You can rent a tube and drop in at one end of the property and float down river to the other end where there is a pebble beach. We spent pretty much all of Memorial Day weekend on the river doing this. Randy checked on us a few times and was very helpful and friendly. The only warning I’d pass along is there is a steep hill on the property that is best ascended with AWD/4WD. We’ll definitely be back!
