Set next to a peaceful stream and 60 seconds from a stunning waterfall, you'll need a tent and an All-Wheel Drive (or 4 wheel drive) vehicle to access this site. Camping here offers the perfect blend of an open field, miles of hiking trails through the forest, rolling hills, and valleys. We've built an roofed overlook where you'll get a birds eye view of our own private waterfall we call Little Niagara (great place to picnic). The falls have a shallow pool at the bottom--bring your swim trunks! Bring your tent, sleeping bag, a ground cloth, and good air mattress because you'll be roughing it! We recommend you purchased one firewood bundle and additional wood can be purchased in crates at the bottom of the hill for $5.

This is a good Hipcamp site. It is very quiet and secluded - really, the only sound was from the stream flowing by. The waterfall is a plus, and there is a viewing deck nearby. Scott was an ideal host - he showed me back to the site, told me where to find things, and said to be sure to call him if I needed anything, and then left me alone for the rest of my stay -perfect! There is a shower setup, but I didn’t try it because it had cold water only, and when I was there in October, with lows in the 40d, I decided to go to the YMCA in town. The only two minuses were the extremely gravelly soil, which made it nearly impossible to drive tent stakes; and the long road back to the site (well over a mile) was a bit challenging for my front-wheel drive compact car (but in fairness, the description does warn that a high-clearance or four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. These are both, however, pretty minor complaints, just things of which to be aware. Overall, a very good Hipcamping experience.
Scott’s campsites were wonderfully scenic and secluded! The perfect REAL camping trip. Scott was extraordinarily friendly and fantastic to chat with! The campsite was very private and very comfortable. The wood purchase was absolutely worth it, and would recommend. The potable water wasn’t close to the campsite, but this isn’t really a negative, just grab some before heading into camp. The bathroom was the cleanest I’ve ever experienced, and the 4WD is a MUST. The trails we had access to were wonderful and the waterfall was awesome. 12/10 for sure
Wonderful site next to the creek, comes with a picnic table fire ring and cooking grate. On nights it was cool and comfortable l, we even herd owls. During the day the waterfall was a short walk past the other site along the creek and opened up to the pavilion. The waterfall was beautiful and had nice pool at the bottom.
Scott was very helpful and friendly. Good communication. Ideal site next to the creek. The waterfall is awesome. I hope I can stay here again.
Towner's Country Paradise exceeded our expectations! It was clean, private and beautiful. Scott responded to questions immediately and was extremely helpful and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

The site we stayed was very spacious and private. It was fun and peaceful and loved the waterfall and just the whole place.
This place is great! Site #1 is the most secluded and private. Sites 2 & 3 are nicely spread out, but you can see each other. You can hear the creek but not access it directly from the camp sites, though there is a beautiful waterfall with access just a couple minutes walk away. Loved our stay!
This campsite exceeded my expectations! I booked site 2 not knowing what the sites were like. When we arrived, no other guests were there, so Scott suggested we stay at site 4. It was the perfect site! Even though the temperature got into the 80s during our stay, the site was well shaded and stayed cool with a light breeze all day. The site is right next to a creek, which created a tranquil white noise at night and entertained our 3 and 5 year old during the day. It was peacefully quiet and we felt like we had so much private space. There were no other camping guests while we were there, but the camp sites are spaced farther than most campground sites.
A short hike from the campsites is a really spectacular waterfall and swimming hole. Kids definitely need help getting down to it. Make sure to wear water shoes as the rocks in the water are covered in algae and are very slippery.
Farther from the campsites, near the cabin rental, is a fun little pond. We decided we would rather swim at the waterfall, but the whole family enjoyed paddling around the pond on the peddle boat. I appreciated there were kid size life jackets readily available to use.
My kids were enchanted by the field full of fireflies at night. Everything about this camp trip felt magical and exclusive.
I would definitely come back here to camp and I have already recommended it to friends. If I could change anything, I would have liked Scott to have a mask on during our Meet N Greet. However, our stay was an absolute delight and we felt we truly enjoyed our stay.
