We love dogs here at Upper Shire, and dogs are welcome to explore the property with you, but must must remain under the owner's control at all times. There is wildlife, including bear and coyote, that occasionally visit the property, particularly at night. Pets may enjoy a refreshing swim in the pond: float vests are recommended for inexperienced swimmers. There may be snapping turtles nesting in or near the pond, depending on the time of year, which can pose a hazard to some curious dogs. The owners have dogs, and we ask that your pets not "visit" our residential property next door (the boundary is clearly marked) Your pet's safety is our primary concern!
