I stayed a few nights in my campervan at the Raven's Nest while my daughter attended a ski camp at Gore. My trip was a bit out of the normal camping season. However, the Raven's Nest had exactly what I needed. There was a flat place to park, electricity, access to a bathroom, a fire pit, and a grill. There was also a structure to park under, and it was close to the ski mountain.

I had some contact with Rob before and during my trip. He replied promptly and was always helpful. I enjoyed my stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

This was absolutely one of the best camping experiences I’ve ever had. With everything being so regulated these days it was so very nice to be able to camp and move about freely with privacy and such beautiful surroundings. As a female solo camper I felt EXTREMELY safe and would absolutely recommend this site to anyone wanting to solo camp for the first time. Scott is incredible and super helpful, will absolutely return.

We had an amazing stay! This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was better than our expectations. He was an incredible host and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Perfect for RV's or camping, it was such a fun spot that was extremely private. Definitely plan on coming back!

We had our RV parked but frequently walked up to the view! Two options for firepit!Incredible setup for an RV with electric. Amazing view! RV's cannot fit up here but cars/campers can.The house that has the main floor open to visitors - small kitchen, bathroom and shower.

Rob's property was a great place to get away for the weekend. Very close to some local watering holes and hiking. Would definitely visit again. Thanks for the hospitality!!

Lovely stay at Robert’s home. Friendly, welcoming vibe and the views are stunning! The bathroom was super clean and tidy-great for a post hike shower. :) Additionally, Robert allows access to his fridge and coffee maker, which makes camping a breeze. Plus, there are a two places to hunker down near a cozy fire pit! Loved it-Will def be back!!

I actually chose the Raven's nest because of the view I thought I could get from my tent, but it turned out to be a 6 out of 5 stars. I did a tent camping experience.

1. beautiful secluded land, beautiful view, stars like at planetarium when the sky is clear
2. beautiful home you have access to many parts of. It is actually hard to describe how cool the house is.
3. super responsive and friendly host
4. North Creek is a tiny town but has everything you need - supermarket, restaurants, gas stations, pharmacy
5. Gore Mountain is right there, the Schafer Gore Mountain hiking trail starts only a mile away, maybe
6. More great hiking and views are 30-40 minutes away by car at Blue Lake (Castle Rock).

From a camping point of view, the fire pit with the view was a fantastic, large fire pit, I got some free wood, the grass was soft. Of course, there was a real bathroom and shower, and coffee, for those who want to glamp.

How's this for good morning?Blue Lake Castle Rock trail recommended by Bob on Oct. 2, 2021. The drive there was beautiful after Indian Lake.Amazing area for camping/bbq/outdoor relaxation. Everything was impeccably maintained and at a level you wouldn't normally expect from a camping/RV site (big understatement). The Ravens Nest

Awesome view, great host. Robert was great getting in touch immediately after we booked (we were cycling in that same day!). Steep climb up the driveway, but worth it for the campfire, chairs, and view.

A wonderful place, very private and quiet. Rob is a friendly and helpful host. We usually camp in our small vintage RV without services, but needed electric and wifi this past weekend. Raven’s Nest was perfect for us. We enjoyed some hiking and rambling around into North Creek, where there is good food (and coffee! Baked goods! Cafe Sarah! Izzy’s!) and other fun things. It was wonderful, and we hope to return soon! Thanks, Rob! 😊
