The Little Witch Cottage is a rustic charming cottage from 1929 with timber framing and Catskill blue stone flooring. It sits in the middle of our yard about 200 feet from our more modern home. We have about 9 acres set back from the road. The cottage has a queen sized bed, dining table, and small kitchenette. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, dishes, and an induction stove top. We recently wired this vintage beauty to run on solar power and has an outhouse with a composting toilet, sink, and heated outdoor shower. Outside the cottage is a small garden, picnic table, fire pit, and chairs. Our land is mostly sloped fields that we are slowly turning into meadows full of native flowers and plants. There are mowed paths through the tall grass. This is perfect glamping spot, a mixture of comfort and nature. We are close to Catskill, NY and surrounded with a mix of beautiful nature and small town fun.The Witch Cottage is rustic one room post and beam cottage built in 1929. It has its original built ins and blue stone floor. We have added modern touches like solar power electricity and an outhouse with heated water. The outhouse has a composting toilet and an outdoor shower. The cottage is nested in the center of our land. From the cottage you overlook our main gardens, a flower meadow, and woods. There is a sloped meadow full of grasses and flowers with mowed paths if you want to explore. We are active gardeners that practice permaculture. There are flower, herb and veggie gardens. You will see us out in there tending the beds and available to give you a tour of the gardens. We are also in the process of rewilding the meadows by planting native plants. This attracts a wonderful amount of butterflies and birds. Like any good country home there is a couple of barn cats that wander around. We love our place because it is so peaceful. We work from home so we are around but give our guests plenty of space but are available if you have questions. We are located close to Cairo, Catskill, Hunter, and Hudson. This area offers the perfect mixture of stunning nature, small town charm, rich history, and art. This is a LGBT friendly spot!

Witch Cottage
The perfect upstate NY stay
I loved my stay at the cottage! It's the perfect balance of enjoying great nature, while still being just a few minutes away from everything you might need. Caitlin and her partner were available but leaving lots of space and privacy. The cottage is full of charming details, very comfortable and both cozy and spacious. I will be back next time I'm in the area!

The most perfect get away
The dreamiest get away in the beautiful rolling hills of Upstate NY. The cottage was everything we hoped for. Quaint and quiet! We enjoyed the fire place inside the cottage as well as the fire pit. The host also provided a space heater to keep us warm during the chilly October nights. Can’t wait to come back next summer.

Beautiful scenery, fresh air, and the perfect balance of rustic and luxury. The cabin was hella cozy and the amenities were exactly what we needed - clean, convenient, thoughtful. We slept like babes in the woods!

Cannot reccomend this place enough! My wife and I had a gloriou stay here. The fireplace is epic, the outdoor shower is intoxicating. 15 out of ten!

Witch Cottage
This little cottage is a dream. It’s so cozy and had all the amenities you would need. We wish we stayed here longer and we will definitely be back. Perfect for a fall vacation. We went into Catskill to explore and Catskill Chocolate Co has amazing chocolate and tasty coffee. Overall this cottage is the perfect weekend getaway spot. Thank you Caitlin!
