Perfectly tucked away and quiet campsite. Watch the sunset over the field and wake up to the river as your backdrop. It’s a nice getaway for alone time, but so conveniently close to the dia beacon museum and angry orchard tasting room.
Sarah's directions were great, especially because we arrived after dark. Everything was super clean and everything we needed was there. We took a nice stroll along the river in the morning and could hear the water all night. Great spot!
Truly a beautiful location, Sarah and her family did a wonderful job selecting and preparing the site. It’s absolutely a slice of heaven with the tent opening up to a beautiful scenic view of the Wallkill River. You can’t ask for a better location! I’ll definitely be back again in the near future!
Cute stay near hudson valley town!
Sarah was a great host and very willing to answer questions and provide information! The space along the river was very pretty and I was visited by wildlife in the morning (a heron, some turkeys). The tent was clean and sturdy. The drive to the space is a little bumpy and was muddy due to rain, so folks with low cars should be prepared for that if it rains. If you have seasonal allergies/asthma, the hay farm definitely set mine off a bit so just come prepared. :) I definitely recommend this stay and loved how close it was to the town of Montgomery; only about five minutes!
We had a great time at Sarah’s campsite on their farm. Everything was well thought out and the river was beautiful! We brought a kayak and a paddle board and it was amazing. Would definitely return - thank you!
Beautiful sleep in hudson valley!
Sarah's place was great!! It was a sweet spot to stay on our way to visit family. We didn't get to explore too much given our timing and how tired we were, but walked down to the river near the other site, which is great for tent camping! The listing tent is surprisingly bit (in a good way!) and the mattress was really comfy - we slept great! While we didn't get to meet Sarah, communication leading up to and during the stay was timely and positive. A great spot for visiting the greater Hudson Valley and Catskills. Make sure to bring your own bedding, a lighter (for fires), and enough water! Thanks again for everything!
