This is the only camp site on a 200-acre parcel of secluded, rural farm land. We are a working pasture based farm where you can see how grass fed beef, pasture-raised pork, chicken, and eggs are produced.

There's nothing quite like fresh eggs and bacon after waking up to the sunrise over a fog-filled valley. When you arrive we will provide a complimentary carton of pastured raised eggs and you are welcome to visit our web site to order meats for your stay and/or to take with you upon your departure.

Shop our on-line store at Red House Ranch . Net for a wide variety of grass fed beef, pasture raised pork, pork sausages - including hot dogs - and chicken cuts. Many of our items are well suited for campfire cooking. Keep in mind that all our products are frozen so be sure to plan for time to thaw. If you're not sure what that involves - we're here to help.

We are a working farm but, much of our property is not grazed or farmed. You are welcome to explore the entire area while also getting a glimpse of sustainable, pasture-based, farming methods. Learn more about us and the history of the farm at our website.

As you roam the hills and forests you'll eventually bump into some of our animals. Please do not enter the animal enclosures or touch any of the electrified fence lines. If you really want to pet a piggie or hold a chicken - just reach out to Ike or Dave and we will gladly arrange this for you.

Red House Ranch is the perfect spot for wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers. During your stay you may encounter eagles, blue herons, coyotes, turtles, wild turkeys, foxes, the endangered bobolink, deer, and great horned owls. It's not uncommon to hear the coyotes howling at night.

In addition to hiking trails with incredible views, there are four ponds on the property. One is very large and suitable for swimming and paddling. The other three are smaller and are now primarily wildlife habitat. Ponds are easily accessible with mown paths and one pond has a dock that can be used for fishing or just relaxing by the water.

If you're feeling adventurous, there is also a more strenuous hike down into the creek bed where you can find miniature versions of the gorges and waterfalls that our region is known for. We are happy to provide maps and guidance or leave you to your own devices.

When skies are clear our area has very little light pollution and excellent star visibility. It's a great place to view the night sky during a meteor shower.

We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy living in this beautiful Southern Tier/Finger Lakes area.

We loved staying at Ike and Dave’s! We were lucky enough to stay during a lunar eclipse and the view of the moon and stars was unforgettable! Most early mornings there is a magical mist covering surrounding valley. We had an amazing time! Hosts were thoughtful and easy to communicate with.

Beautiful view and so much land to explore! Absolutely loved playing with the pigs and chickens, and met some sweet cats :) I highly recommend buying their products if you eat meat, the steak was delicious and looking forward to eating the pork we took home! You get a complementary dozen of eggs with you stay which made perfect for breakfast in the morning. Perfect little spot, would love to return with warmer weather! Thanks so much Ike!!!

Ike and Dave's farm is beautiful and absolutely perfect for some car camping. Our group stayed in mid-October and the view of the changing leaves from our campsite was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts greeted us warmly and guided us to our spot and after that they were very hands-off, which was great. Our site was very nice and secluded, perfectly peaceful. We also sampled a selection of meats and eggs from their farm - all delicious grilled on our campfire. Well worth the price and we'll be coming back for sure.

Red house ranch camp is picturesque . It’s absolutely stunning both morning and night . The morning fog can only be matched by the evening sunset over the mountains . The stars are crystal clear ! The campsite is perfect and clean . Has all the essentials plus we were given free eggs from the chickens on the farm . The farm has some trails that go through the hills and is beautiful for a morning walk. All major trails are within a 15-20 min drive as well. Everyone I send pictures to does not believe this place but it is very real . You can find such peace but also take a short drive into town and have access to all your needs. Would recommend and will be going back !

Fantastic host, phenomenal view, and just the right amount of seclusion without being so barebones (water and clean toilet). There’s a giant tree for shade, well maintained campfire, picnic table, and a bunch of chickens you can watch from a distance. Really hard to find any negatives about this site and it’s actually our second time visiting. It does get windy at times though so stake down tents or canopies properly. We used the logs for extra weight just in case but it’s really not a problem or inconvenience with some preparation. Do order meats online, the hot dogs were amazing for a late night snack. Good memories made here, you won’t be disappointed!

Our family had such a pleasant stay here. The views, especially at sunrise, were breathtaking. The site was clean and well maintained. Our two children (5 and 6) and our golden retriever had a blast running around for hours. Our family explored Wakins Glen State Park in the morning and the kids spent the afternoon swimming in the pond. The kids were thrilled there were blow-up kayaks available to paddle around the pond. I would definitely stay here again.

Best camp site I’ve been to. Beyond beautiful. Private and peaceful. I wanted to build my own little cottage on top of that hill and live there! They also gave us hot dogs and a dozen eggs made right on their farm. The best we’ve ever had. This location is also near the finger lakes (Seneca lake in Watkins Glen) and we veered able to visit there too. This is the camp site you’re looking for!

This place was amazing from the moment we arrived. We were escorted to our site and it was exactly as described. The wood we ordered was more than enough for two days and the fresh eggs were a treat!
The fire pit area was pristine and the view of the surrounding hills was stunning. We were given a map of the 200 acres and where to find the pond and waterfall and invite to go explore. Having only one site you know it’s going to be an incredible place to relax and it was. I’ll let my photos tell the rest of the story. It was like a dream.
Thank you Dave, Ike and your sweet mom who greeted us. You made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back. We miss the chickens already. They definitely kept us entertained with their hilarious “voices”.

We enjoyed watching these little guys. They were quite comical. One of my friends described this as Teletubby Land. He hit that description perfectly! It doesn’t look real! First glimpse of predawn and I was so glad to have been awake to catch this. It was simply breathtaking and a beautiful image to conclude our stay. The waterfall was a very hilly hike but refreshing to walk through the creek to get to it. Even in the dry season it was still very pretty.
