Nice place to stay.
There is a huge field with a river.
We were staying there for 1 night and really enjoyed the sound of flowing water.
Jessica was very friendly she brought for us a table with two chairs.
There are couple of good hiking trails nearby.
A nice hipcamp stay
We enjoyed hipcamping on Rebecca's land. When we arrived, we saw the table / chairs / fire pit on our right, by the nice stream, and a large grassy field on the left. It was big enough to easily fit our two tents--frankly could have fit several more tents. Rebecca let us use extra firewood she had, which we really appreciated. There is a fence between the hipcamp around you pull up to and Rebecca's property, and on the other side there are geese roaming around, an occasional hog siting, and some dogs behind a fenced in field that are delightful to pet (of the dogs, Luke was the most enthusiastic about being pet!). Rebecca is also very quick to respond to texts and wants to be helpful if you need anything.
This place was absolutely amazing, it was very relaxing and the sounds of the river passing buy the tent at night was very tranquil. Our host Jessica was very friendly and accommodating. She has a few pigs some geese and a peacock that were very amusing and cute. I would highly recommend this place to any one looking to get away and relax you wont be disappointed.
The host Rebecca was very courteous with a great welcoming when we got there.
It was very private by the stream .We had a great campfire with a fire ring and table that she provided. The sound of the babbling Brook was very nice. It’s very nice with her cute curious geese and peacock checking us out.
Conveniently located two minutes off of the Beautiful Taconic Parkway.
Simple and serene upstate camp!
Rebecca was an amazing host. She gave us full access to the land for exploring and pitching our tents. The animals were fun to see and our dogs had an amazing time. I loved the sound of the stream and the amazing view of the stars at night. We were able to scavenge plenty of firewood and Rebecca gave us access to even more firewood by the house. We feel lucky to have found this spot and plan on coming back again soon!
