Otisco Lake unique park setting

You can stay right next to the lake and creek. There are paddle boards, kayaks and canoes you can use. The wild flowers smell amazing! There's electricity to charge your phone. Kimberly was very helpful.

Our family enjoyed a quick overnight stay on the property as part of a longer road trip. The kids (3 & 5) had tons of room to run around and get their wiggles out. They especially enjoyed the lawn games and going out on the paddle boat. The sunset was beautiful, and we loved taking in the scenery as we ate a leisurely breakfast.

The one downside we experienced was the massive amount of goose poop. The entire lawn was like a land mine of it, which made it near impossible to find a clean spot for the tent (and not so fun to clean off the nooks and crannies everyone's shoes when it was time to get in the car). No one else has mentioned this in their reviews, so I'm guessing it was just the time of year that we visited? Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

What a spectacular place to stay!! Although it was not my first time camping, it was my first time using Hipcamp. Kimberly and her husband were tremendous hosts, they quickly responded to all my questions, had great amenities on site for guests to use and personally gave us the lay of the land and all it offers past what they are able to list on Hipcamp. It was simply an amazing location, right on the lake with plenty of space for all your setup/activities and gorgeous views from anywhere you look. The essentials of electricity and a toilet were easily accessible as well as other enjoyable amenities like wood, chairs, canoe, picnic table and lawn games that were offered to guests. On this trip I also went with two friends whom never camped before and they were definitely spoiled with this unique experience and location. We all wish there were most days in the weekend so we could have extended our stay. We will
certainly be back soon.

Great family owned camping spot. Beautiful lake frontage and views. Very family friendly

My family (with two small children age 4 and 6) had a wonderful time here camping in the field, cooking, and having fires right on the water. The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating to our requests on set up and placement. It was spacious and private. We were excited to see kayaks and other types of boats available to us. My kids were thrilled.

One heads up is to bring water shoes and/or Teva’s. The shoreline and surrounding grass area are not barefoot friendly. We also brought our own hammock and laundry line.

We would definitely recommend this spot. It was a wonderful time.
