2024 total eclipse
In the path of the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse.
Welcome, Mission Conesus, originally built by Franciscan Catholics. These lands were likely chosen for many reasons. Suffice it to say there is something special here. Come discover for yourself. Lose yourself here, or maybe find yourself, among the Hemlocks. First, a bit about the terrain. There is much in the way of forest, very mature, and a broad array of plant species. Elevation differences are vast, land to the west is uphill for quite a ways, and downhill to the east, to Hemlock lake below, so the world here can feel a bit tilted. We adjoin 150 acres of nature conservancy lands that nobody seems to know about. These lands are for respectful public daytime use. We also adjoin 6600 acres of NY state forest which is public property. Exploring all that is here would take a very long time! Want to get away? Welcome to our little slice of heaven. We are just getting started in the camping space, but for now, we're accepting bookings and looking forward to hosting you, at the mission. Site 1 - Enchanted Mission / Hemlock Grove
This was our third time camping here, something must be good? The location is peacefull, the ramada is great if the weather is bad, large fire pit. Nice hike down to the lake. Korey meets us upon arrival, checks all is okay and you don't see him unless you need to. Only 15 minutes to a grocery store by car. It has a good feel to it, we'll be back I'm sure

Site 4 - Enchanted Mission / Hemlock Grove
The Mission is such a special place and I’m so glad Korey is offering his land to campers! I can’t wait to come back. Be sure to take the trail by the pavilion to the lake. Yes it is steep, but take your time and it will be so worth it :)

Calm and very quiet!
This was my second visit to Enchanted mission. My group had all sites booked but we expected rain and parked our tear drop trailers alongside the large ramada on one end of the campsite. Korey met us upon arrival, gave us the low down on the campsite and left us alone with instructions on how to contact him if needs be. He was flexible on our departure time. The ramada had tables and chairs and was perfect to set up kitchen and dining. Large fire ring nearby. The other sites are well dispersed and greenery gives good privacy. A steep ish trail leads down to Hemlock lake or a 15 minute drive to the boat launch. The best part of camping on Koreys land is that it's VERY quiet. We saw no more than a dozen cars over the weekend. No aeroplanes overhead or boat noise from the lake. I'ts very quiet. just crickets and our voices. We will visit again without doubt. Thanks Korey!
