Our 1860's farmhouse is nestled in six acres in a glacial valley just south of the Finger Lakes region. Neighbors to the Finger Lakes Trail and Shindagin Hollow State Forest, 20 minutes to Ithaca, Cornell and Ithaca College, and a short drive to all of the waterfalls and lakes in the FLX area. We have a cluster of chickens, two outdoor cats, Stewie, who loves everyone and might follow you on a hike and Gibby, a Manx cat from the streets of Rochester who is in charge of rodent control, and the dog, Marvin who can be a little over excited to meet new people but is easily won over with belly rubs. There is no shortage of wildlife! Owls, Bald Eagles, Racoons, Deer, etc... Be on the lookout for all of the Orange Newts and Salamanders that frequent our property as well! We're happy to have you and you group stay with on our and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and star gazing opportunities!Learn more about this land: 3 campsites tucked away on a 6 acre farm, 20 minutes south of Ithaca, NY. on the Finger Lakes Trail and near two state forests. Laura & Ralph's Krazy Acres getaway

We had an awesome camp, site 1. Large enough for an 8 person tent with plenty of room around. We arrived a little bit before 6pm and Jamelle had a fire set up and greeted us with instructions about the area. Our site was along the tree line farthest away from the house and road. At times there was a little bit of road noise but mostly we had the sounds of chipmunks, owls, crickets and leaves falling. The firepit was awesome. We had purchased 1 night of firewood from Jamelle and also brought 2 very dry bundles of firewood with some kindling and starters. We lucked out because we were the only campers on the land. The drive to the site is on grass with some dips. I pulled into their driveway and got directions to the site. I used the wrong entrance at first (should have made a right one tree over) and had a nasty dip. The correct entrance was better, we had a rental car, Hyundai Elantra that made it just fine, but I used caution to avoid some mud tracks. Definitely recommend Krazy Acres. Great views, lovely hosts, adorable animals on site and a place where you can connect with the land. Loved it!

Krazy Acres

Great spot and great hosts!

Found a last minute camping site at Jamelle and Tim's place and had a lovely time. The site was set back from the road and house, with plenty of privacy and easy access to the FLT, which we enjoyed. Jamelle welcomed us kindly and ensured we'd be set with a good campfire for the night. My friends and I had a wonderful time and would stay again in the future!

Krazy Acres

Krazy Acres was exactly what we were looking for- private, beautiful, and well kept. A long day led us to a post sunset arrival, and Jamelle met us with a fire already started. T & J were welcoming and kind- I'd recommend staying here for anyone (especially in fall- the colors on the rolling hills are so beautiful!)

Krazy Acres

Beautiful setting and excellent hospitality. We arrived after dark on a brisk night, and Jamelle and Tim had a fire set up for us when we arrived as well as eggs and tomatoes from their farm. Low light pollution in the area so star gazing was beautiful. The Finger Lakes trail goes through the edge of the property so you can hike directly from the site if you like.
