After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 1/4 mile walk in (approximately 5-8 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air.
**Notice: Ticks are in our woods and all along the tri-state area so be prepared to do tick checks and do some research before you come on how to dress so less ticks latch on as you hike around the woods.
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be on a level part of a rolling forested hill with enjoyable woodland views all around. We do have one other campsite on the property but it is 3/4 miles away so you and your companions will be able to camp without interruptions from a neighboring campground.
Also, please take advantage of the hiking trails on the property and explore the woods or travel down to our year round stream where you are welcome to try your luck with catching the brook trout. You will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, and your company.
The campsite has an 11ft x 11ft tent platform, a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Split firewood is available as an extra and you can supplement with plenty of dried sticks at the edges of the campsite. If you feel that you need assistance getting your supplies all the way to camp, no problem, we can tractor in the supplies, but we do charge a $40 round trip fee for that.

This incredible campsite is nestled in the rolling forest on Jeremy’s (the host) 100+ acres of land. The walk from car to campsite is far so travel light, but the campsite is really worth it in my opinion! Jeremy kindly showed us the way so we had no trouble finding it.
The campsite itself is a secluded oasis with towering trees and a view of the sky for stargazing on a clear night. You are surrounded by nature and blissful quiet: just the sounds of owls hooting at night and birds chirping in the morning. The campsite has an excellent fire-pit, log seats, table, stack of firewood, plus a toilet nearby so the essentials are all there waiting for you.
My boyfriend and I went for a private couple’s weekend away so it was just the two of us, but the site can probably fit 2-3 tents so it would be good for groups as well.
Bonus: we were given fresh eggs feom the farm upon arrival which made for a great breakfast the next morning.
10/10 recommend this campsite—we will be visiting again, for sure. Thanks Jeremy!
Great campsite with room for three tents, a beautiful tent site platform, fire pit, and a split log table and benches. The site felt wonderfully remote but was only a 10 minute walk from our cars. Jeremy, the host, was exceptionally friendly and helpful when we were getting in and out. The only downside was the abundant ticks, but we were camping in the northeast so not unexpected.
I would like to go back! bare natur
Im really happy with my stay over there. When we got there they received us in a friendly environment they give us eggs, and direct us where we have to stay. At the camp was the best experience ever as soon the night comes you will see the ground full of lightbugs it was seen the ground full of stars. I would recommend you these place if you want to be in a quite place, connect with nature. Also the host let us know is the ticks season thats the only thing you have to be aware.
