Very close to the Battenkill River for swimming, fishing, kayaking, tubing, and picnicking. Just 3 miles to town where you can find groceries, local farmer’s market, independent bookstore, antiques, art galleries, diner, brew pub, and donut cart.
Great hiking/biking nearby: Adirondacks, Green Mountains, 45 minutes to the Long Trail. One hour or less drive to Lake George, Saratoga Springs, Manchester, VT, Williamstown, MA.
