This amazing 50 acre farm is on the State and National Historic Register. Once part of the Milton Bodine land tract, this property has been privately owned for 4 generations. Come explore all Riverside Farm has to offer.

This picturesque family farm is conveniently located just 80 miles from both Manhattan and Albany. Riverside Farm offers 1600 feet of direct river access, ponds, rolling meadows and woodlands. You’ll have 50 acres of freedom to enjoy at your leisure. There are convenient walking paths cut throughout the property to help guide you. The farm is yours to explore, check out the beautiful, historical barns, old school hand water pumps, the old-world windmill and other hidden treasures. All the campsites have plenty of space between each other (roughly 300ft), and they all have their own access points to the river.

We are approximately 1.5 miles from Angry Orchard Cider House (due to COVID you should look into reservations prior to your stay!)

The new City Winery in Montgomery is minutes away. We are right in the middle of the Shawangunk Wine Trail and have dozens of wineries within 20 miles of the farm. World class hiking trails and breathtaking views await at Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Mountain House, both just 15 miles away. The Bashakill Preserve is home to some of the best bird watching in the Northeast and is 5 miles away. The walkway over the Hudson and fine dining options at Newburgh's waterfront are also within a short 20 minute drive. The Shawangunk, Wallkill and Hudson Valley rail trails are easily accessible for those wanting to bike or jog. Whether your looking for a home base to explore the wonderful Hudson Valley and it's attractions or looking to get completely lost in nature's peacefulness and beauty, Riverside Farm is the spot.

Sam’s camp site was great! It was private and right by the stream, which is exactly what we wanted for a couple and a dog. The water is shallow enough to stand in but not swim.

They provided a picnic table, fire pit, firewood (for purchase) and a trash can. So all your basics. As most campsites by the water, prep for mosquitoes.

Other campsites and neighbors are within earshot but not visible. Everyone seems to have their own access path to the water.

Would recommend and return!

Such a gorgeous spot with great hosts! It was our first time camping and couldn’t have asked for a better first time spot. Directions to space were clear, a really sweet dog, and great recommendations for things to do in the area. We will definitely be going back but probably in a rental car, there is a steep incline on the way out that our Prius almost didn’t make up - not that we would have minded if we got stuck there!

This campsite is perfect !Located right on the river it offers beautiful scenery, well maintained site, and privacy. The river was a perfect temperature for summer time heat and not too strong of a current or too deep (perfect for my dog). Highly recommend ! Plan to come back !

We stayed at campsite 3. It was nice place with the riverfront. Fire pit and firewood was provided. Also a garbage can and fire extinguisher was at the site. Portable toilet was kept clean. I would recommend this place to other campers.

I have been camping for a few years and this is definitely my favorite spot so far. The campsite is right next to the river with plenty of wildlife and bird watching. I will definitely be back!

This spot was incredible! Right on the water so the views were gorgeous but the bugs weren’t bad. The property has a lot to explore with some very nice wood swings to relax on too. Wish I could’ve stayed longer than one night!
