Just as beautiful and amazing as our last visit in the summer! Will definitely consider this one of our go to camping spots. Very grateful that Cecelia has offered to share this space.
Wonderful place! Cecelia was a great host always checking in making sure we've got everything we need. Great place to relax and reconnect with nature. If you're looking for a quiet, idyllic place to camp, this is it. Cecelia picked a secluded site for us as we requested. Plenty of hiking and picturesque roads to take a relaxing drive. Plenty of organic farmer's markets in the area where you can try the local produce.
This is a really special place! I’m always so touched people will invite strangers to enjoy the beautiful spaces they have. I’ve camped in many places around the country and this spot is one of my favorites. Stunning views of a rural landscape like out of a story book. It’s very secluded and private but also the faint mooing of the cows was great company. It was so much fun to watch our dog run his little heart out around their open field, and explore the hillside. I’m still in awe of how peaceful and beautiful it was.
We had a wonderfully peaceful weekend enjoying the surrounding vista and meandering through the rolling farmlands. If you're looking for some calm and to be truly be alone - this is the place for you! Cecelia promptly led us to a wonderful site and even provided firewood.
Our campsite was absolutely perfect! We had booked a weekend at a different HipCamp and unfortunately it was flooded out. We already had our cars packed up and ready to camp so we contacted Cecelia. She had the perfect spot ready for us at short notice that was wooded, secluded and a perfect amount of space for the 5 of us. We've already talked about going back in the fall and exploring another area on the property.
Best place in upstate
Truly a wonderful place to spend a weekend! Cecelia stayed up late for us when we hit major traffic on our way in. The hill side where we stayed was breathtaking and really quiet. We swam in the creek n her property with the dogs and met some amazing fellow campers! Had the best long weekend!
Gorgeous views and wide open spaces
One of the best camping experiences we’ve had by far!! We chose the mountain scenic view and had a beautiful, open field for our pups to run! Even saw a bald eagle! At night we could hear owls and coyotes too! Such a wonderful piece of property and Cecelia was a gracious host! We would love to make the drive back someday for sure!
This place was GORGEOUS! Everything we wanted! Cecilia was friendly and helpful. For our first stay we stayed on the top of a mountain with views of the valley and surrounding area that was simply breathtaking! We had to leave for a few days but we came back to hearts desire and stayed at a new site that Cecilia recommended. This site was nestled back behind a pond in a little wooded area that was quiet with the sounds of frogs as you go to sleep! A fire ring and firewood was provided and when we needed more it was brought to us! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
