We have a generational family farm. It was originally an organic beef cow farm started by our ancestors and we all operated the farm for over 40 years. It then became a C.S.A and now is a homestead. The land has strong indigenous roots. The camping area is a 40 acres consisting of two fields, hedrows, small pine groove, large cherry tree and small wooded area. We also provide access to other parts of the farm for hiking, fishing and swimming. InJoy your stay! May God bless you!We have a generation family farm. Exodus Farms
Private and Peaceful!
It was exactly what I was looking for. Timothy was ready and waiting for me when I arrived and promptly led me to a site based on my choice to connect more deeply with nature. It was the most perfect private spot, far enough away from other campers to feel like you almost had the place to yourself. There was a fire pit made from rocks with a little kindling already provided. I visited in early Spring for the 2024 eclipse and while the campsite itself wasn't terribly muddy (there was plenty of grass), some of the surrounding property trails experienced considerable flooding. Take your wellies if you plan to walk to the property to the creek (which I totally recommend)! There is a nearby road but at night I didn't hear a thing. In the early mornings prepare to be serenaded with so many red-winged black birds. It was heavenly! Thanks for a great stay. :-)

Exodus Farms
Great place to stay for a night
The hosts were very kind. They had available spots in a field and also in a woodsy spot, with some walking trails through the trees. Very nice little area. We also got a great meal delivered to our spot. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who needs a place to camp in this area.

Quiet, Great Location and Camp Host
We enjoyed our camping experience so much at Exodus. My kids loved it. Everything was very quiet and peaceful. The self-check in location was easy to find. The grass road had a few bumps so would recommend taking it slow if you are in a low clearance vehicle. There was a nice spot for campfires that my kids had fun roasting hotdogs and marshmellows there. Plenty of space for tents as we used two very large tents to sleep in. Was surprised to see how quiet and peaceful it was considering we were just minutes away from the freeway, walmart, and a number of food joints. There was another campground at the Wayne County fairgrounds which we checked out first before this one and it was dirty, trash everywhere, and just out in a wide open field for everyone to stare at you. This had lovely trees everywhere. You do have to dig your own latrine for toiletry or just go in the woods which was fine for us, especially for the price we were paying. The hosts were absolutely amazing. Our van wouldn't start on our last day (a Sunday) and the camp host came out, even though their home is a bit of a walk from the campsite and helped us jump the car. We were so very grateful and surprised as we've had other camping locations tell us to just call a tow truck. We will be in the area again in a year or two and I plan on using them again. Highly recommend others to try it out. Was way better option that any hotel that was available in the area.
