Stephanie and Herb have a large property with a lot of potential. The available rowboat was great and I appreciate the hosts being flexible and accommodating.

Stephanie and Herb were great hosts. We stayed up from the lake in one of the higher sites and enjoyed the autumn colors
as and way the sun made the water sparkle over the lake.

I took the row boat and had a gentle tour around the lake.

The only issue was the sound of cars on the road on the other side of the lake. The water acted as an amplifier.

This was minimal however and the delicious breakfast sandwich which we purchased was brought to our campsite at time we asked the following morning. The eggs were freshly laid by the chickens on their farm.

I am glad you had a relaxing time. Just wanted to clarify we do have chickens and Turkeys but not an actual farm, just a large garden and nice size chicken coop . We have a 20 acre mostly wooded homesite on Spring Lake (not the campground lake) that adjoins our 64 acre campground . Our house is one mile from the campground by car though the woods are connected. This is why we ask that people let us know 15 minutes before arrival so we can meet them and show them around a little.

A beautiful and serene camping spot! We chose to stay at the wooded site which provided a ton of shade and was elevated with a view of the lake. There was ample space for our tents and a couple of tables. We were lucky to be the only ones there and enjoyed the amazing fall foliage.

My stay here was great! Lots of space to hang out and enjoy the nature around. The row boat on the pond is a nice addition as well. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful camping trip we had! I highly recommend this location - it has everything you need. Beautiful view of the lake, a boat to take out, hiking trails to explore, and a perfect fire pit to unwind. I want to rave about the sandwiches - previous reviews did not lead us astray! A great way to wake up and start your day! Thank you again so much

And You can also hear an occasional airplane or helicopter . Luckily we live on a residential road not near any highways. This is not Alaska
