Near the farmhouse are a friendly dog and cat, roaming chickens, fresh water, and a composting toilet.

Michael and his wife are super nice and my kids and I had a great time feeding the piglets and camping in the woods. The larger camp site was at the end of a marked path and the view of the stars was amazing. We had a fire pit, picnic table and lots of privacy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the yummy sausages from their farm that we grilled over the fire.
Just do it! youâll be glad you did!
Michael was fantastic at communication, the site was beautiful and the tour from Carla was amazing!!! Highly recommend!!! Thanks!!!

My friend and I decided to try Hipcamp for the first time and were not disappointed! We had a great time exploring the farm and woodlandsâthere was always something interesting to look at. There were lots of campsite options but we chose a grassy patch by the edge of the woods, which was near the composting toilet and had a fire pit and a great view of the stars. We did have to carry our things from the car to the campsite (as expected) so pack light! Totally recommend if you want to enjoy nature and some peace and quiet.
Beautiful slice of farm paradise! Got a wonderful tour of the farm and a beautiful site to camp. Would recommend!!!
Peaceful, educational and welcoming
Between the soft, pine needle forest floor, the peaceful, serene woods and the flexible welcoming of our hosts, this was the ideal camping stay. We were able to purchase wood right from the hosts, access to clean water and use a hot shower. Though, my son's favorite part was sprinkling sawdust into the composting toilet, I quite enjoyed the quiet walk from the car to the dense pine woods where we setup our tent. We look forward to coming back soon, and urge any campers coming here to take the time for a tour!
Staying with Michael was a memorable and amazing experience. When we arrived, he and his beautiful dog showed us around the farm and campsites, and taught us a bit about permaculture. We stayed just one night in the secluded campsite, and wish we couldâve stayed longer. Exploring the classroom, woods, and hanging out with the pig herd was a blast, and we were lucky enough to see some two day-old piglets. After trying the farmâs kielbasa and Italian sausage, we are also sure to be paying Michael a visit at the Ithaca farmerâs market for more of his delicious meats. Thank you so much for the great memories!
After a long day of motorcycle travel got in after dark, he was waiting on me and showed where to pitch my tent. Set up camp and fell asleep listening to the night noises to be awakened by the chickens in the morning. Had a nice chat in morning also, a delightfully nice place, plan on returning in fall!
Staying with litters of pigs reminds the camper of a different sort of life: what if we cared for this earth instead of destroying it? What if we loved animals like they were comrades on this globe instead of creatures to extract resources out of? Michael's love for nature and his pigs made us have a remarkable stay. We send nothing but gratitude his direction and thank him for his hospitality.
