View faces west for the most spectacular sunsets. 7 min drive to North Creek, NY were there are shops and several good restaurants. Also, in North you will find Revolutionary Rail, a bicycling outfit on the railroad along the Hudson River. There is also a lot of mountain bike trails at the Gore Mountain Ski Bowl. Whitewater rafting outfitters on Hudson. Becks Tavern with live outdoor music.
