Spring fed brook in the Adirondacks
We had a great time. The forest is beautiful here. Old growth, very untouched. We saw chipmunks and wild turkeys. Robert was very helpful, especially when we had to pull a booking change to go see family. He graciously offered to let us use downed small trees for firewood.
The site itself is close to a road but the traffic is only one vehicle every couple hours. The one thing that was tough to deal with were the small tree stumps dotting the cleared part of the site. There's a spot that's free enough of them to fit a tent, but they were an annoyance. At the price though, it was still a great value, and Robert is still working on the site bit by bit. This was September 2018, so good chance this detail could be irrelevant by the time you're reading this. Overall we were pretty happy with the site! A full supermarket was only 10 minutes away, but around the site there's only 2 neighbors whose homes were pretty far off.
