Possum Hollow is a lovely grassy shady camp site with direct river access, this site is suited to families or groups. A good site to spot the platypus. 4x4 is recommended due to river crossing but can be accessed with SUV with raised ground clearance.

Loved it. What a beautiful part of the world!
So tranquil! We'll be back !
This was about our third visit to Wunglebung. We love the seclusion, peace and privacy. Watching the platypus in the river each day is always a highlight as are the microbats at night. Our dogs enjoyed the space and daily walks sniffing all the new smells.

Amazing property!! Very picturesque and peaceful. So very relaxing. We all loved it. Hope to be back. Kayaks were a bonus.
We enjoyed the platypus sightings and
birds. We enjoyed kayaking on the river.
The tranquillity and natural beauty was relaxing.
Access to swimming was limited due to flooding which was disappointing as it was hot and humid.
We are thankful to the hosts Sarah and James for providing showers and toilet for our stay.
We had a great time away from our phones and noise. The shower in the horse float was great. The long drop loo was well maintained. The river was beautiful. We used the kayaks provided and one of our group brought two kid size ones for the little ones. We crossed the creek in our two wheel drive ute, but when its been raining and the water is up, I'd be waiting until the water goes down a bit. We took buckets for recycling, compost, soft plastics, and landfill, but we could have used a few more. We will bring more next time. Oh and we will bring some kindling to start the fire next time.
Was such a beautiful area, we are travelling in a transit and couldnt make it across the river but there just just as beautiful spots to camp on the other side. No amenities on other side though. Was such a peaceful stay and enjoyable way to switch off!

Awesome spot, sites are along way away from eachother with is great to have a piece of the river to yourself. Showers and toilets were a welcome surprise. Will be back.

Loved this spot in the middle of a gorgeous valley. The drive in is beautiful as well. We saw the platypus swimming around in the mornings and evenings. Only wish we had brought kayaks with us to get out on the river. Great spot!
As a group of 3 couples (each of us in our own caravan) we are always looking for new & different camping experiences. We were definitely not disappointed with Wunglebung Camping (Possum Hollow+Casuarina Camp sites). We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, bike riding & watching Wedge-Tail Eagles in full flight & nesting. We managed a heart pumping 20+km ride travelling through some of the beautiful hills & valleys that are part of this incredible 1600-1800 acre property. We also embraced the remoteness & the fact there was no wifi or telecommunications. In closing & on behalf of all the guys....a "Big Thank You" to Sarah Jarret who was the perfect host & left no stone unturned to ensure we fully enjoyed a unique experience on her family property.
