Camping at drovers rest is amazing. Being so close to the creek and watching the cows walk through was wonderful. Great place to take our Lil girls to get back to nature and having our dog come along. Too

Great stay at drover’s rest, the river was flowing fresh clean and cool, a very scenic location with a nice drive down into the valley, I would recommend a visit.

Peace, quiet, disconnected from the rest of the world....highly recommend this location. What an incredible property! We had such a great time, the river is stunning, the cows were super friendly, the dogs loved the freedom and space.

Would 100% recommend it!

Loved Sarah and James property. The river was too high to cross when we arrived, so James brought down the mower and slashed us a new site. Fabulous hosts 💕
The cows were friendly and inquisitive and loved our dog. The river was cool and refreshing. The scenery along the drives were magic.
Well worth the long and winding road to get there.

The camp-site was everything we hoped for. Isolated, quiet and no reception. Well worth the drive out

Very nice relaxing area, well kept. The amenities very well kept. Perfect location to relax for a few days, we had our three kids and 3 friends aged 10-15 and they all had a great time.

Great spot - got to try out our new 4WD braving the river crossing after rain.
We were the only campers so it felt as though we were the only people on Earth!
The drive down into the valley is long but worth it.

Peaceful and tranquil setting, Platypus and possum sightings add to the wonderful experience. Enjoy wiling your hours overlooking the riparian view or float/kayak (supplied by Sarah & James) down the river. Have a unique experience of having a hot shower in a converted horse float. At the end of the day enjoy being warmed by your own fire pit. Thanks Sarah and James for sharing such a special place.
