We had a great time staying at tweed valley cheeses. We parked Caravan just behind the cafe. Toilet available. Spent an afternoon enjoying a cheese board and wine at the cheesery and then walked back to the Caravan had a bonfire. We Would definitely go back and visit again had a great time. Peter and sue where really friendly and great to chat to :)
Something to note is the camp sites are next to paddock with all the calves that has electric fences. We had our 2year old son with us and he was fine just had to keep an eye on him. And remind him not to touch the fence. He loved watching all the cows 🐄

Misleading and dangerous!!!!
Very misleading and very dangerous! My one year old was shocked by the electric fence and the campsite is actually in a busy car park behind the cafe/cheese shop. Needless to say we left the site within 30 minutes of arriving and WOULD NOT recommend this hipcamp to anyone, especially someone with kids. The ad states this is a costal property with creeks and swimming. This is absolutely false. The sites are on a small strip of long grass under a power pole with a transformer next to electric fences on two sides and a car park on the other. With 2 adults, 2 kids and fees we paid $60 a night. Total rip-off and completely unsafe. The site listing needs a massive makeover or should be taken down for false advertising and endangerment.
Another nice stay at the dairy
Thanks for making the special effort to cater for my family after hours😊
If this had been advertised as a beautiful stopping place overnight in the car park of the cheese factory come coffee shop, I would have known what to expect. I can’t help but feel a little misled by the notion that the camping spot would be in open fields. Instead we looked out over a fenced field which had a few cows when we arrived, a massive power pole, all the while camped in the car park with random comings and goings. The person who directed us was very nice, however, and there’s also access to the coffee shop’s spotless toilet facilities.
The site is as stated, a campsite at the back of a farmhouse that sells cheese! The site has toilets and of course cheese to buy between wed-sun.
There is a small grass l shaped lawn but some uneven and I wouldn't recommend camping on grass if it has rained. It is a basic site for the happy enough camper. Central and quietish. Think it is a little bit overpriced but good for the region.
The farm was a great stop over. A very beautiful farm, lovely animals and a great host! Even better waking up to a hot coffee :)
