Enjoy the scenery, relaxation or dress up for the some impressive local wineries.

National Cherry festival is held every year in Young later in the year. Mobile phone reception is not an issue with a 5G vodaphone tower onsite.

When we travelled the weather was very poor which I have tried to take into account when writing this review. The surrounding areas in this town are picturesque however the land itself is very exposed to wind and elements. The toilet did not flush properly which was not a big deal if you use the bucket. It appears that there was an old meat processing shed on the property with lots of detritus around and caution should be had with children on the property. The property was not slashed and this affected where we could camp however due to the rain this would’ve been hard to have completed By the owner. There are sheep and horses on the adjacent property which were friendly. There is a local pub on the corner. A trip to the waterfalls requires a short five minute drive and once arrived at the waterfalls you require a four-wheel-drive to access the site. There is no power on site. There is a large phone tower on site which Whistles in the wind. No it’s not too annoying. We were out of fire season which meant we could not enjoy a warm fire this would’ve greatly improved experience. The land is not flat and slopes towards the road. This makes pitching a tent a little difficult though you can level up camper trailer or caravan without issues. The ground around the shed was quite muddyWhich was also affected by the rain. I’m sure experience would’ve been much better had the weather been better as well.

Well, the entrance to the farm was less than obvious. The gates need replacing and a sign would be helpful. I must say the toilet made up for the gates with a grandiose door. And it was super quiet.

The campsite is good. It is an open space, with a nice fire place (although it is shared - I was like to be alone there) and surrounded by sheep and horses. It has a flushed toilet (it was clean) and water. We enjoyed the time there. The down side is that there are no many things around.
